Silent Thunder A-10 TK2 is easily in my top 5 most enjoyed and missed flight simulator games of the mid '90s. The graphics were a significant improvement over platform games of that era and even PC games like Descent ('95), MechWarrior 2 ('95) and SimCopter ('96). Computer hardware in that era was growing exponentially year to year, and game complexity and graphics followed suit. The controls were fairly responsive when using a Sidewinder 360 joystick. Being a child at that time, I had more fun exploring and maneuvering than I did completing missions, but it was all good. The controls must have been fairly simple because I don't remember having any trouble cruising around. You could choose the load-out of your armaments, though I don't remember the list being particularly robust. I also enjoyed the soundtrack, which contributed to the atmosphere of the gameplay. Some of the missions were challenging as you had to juggle several time-sensitive objectives with limited resources, but that was part of the fun. The missions never seemed to be overly long, though not as short and intense as some modern simulators. I really wish that everyone gets a chance to experience the simple joy and fun that games like this can evoke. Please bring this wonderful game back, GOG!

My favorite arcade story-driven flight sim of all time. Good amount of my afternoons after school in the 90s was dedicated to this and Diablo 1. I literally bought an older retro gaming PC from the 90s to play JUST this game again on original hardware. Even though I can play it on real hardware I'd love to be able to play this on my modern PC through GOG.

Sim Theme Park
Sim Theme ParkLike the previous title, Theme Park World tasks players with managing a series of amusement parks. To do this, the player must choose how to spend their available funds, finding a way to expand the number and scope of their parks while remaining profitable. Income from the park can be used to purchase new rides or attractions, hire staff to maintain the park, and other similar functions. Various elements can be controlled by the player, such as the name of the park, the price of admission, the layout of the roller-coaster tracks, and the quality of food in the park restaurants. An ant-like announcer by the name of Buzzy, voiced by Terry McGovern in the American-tailored Sim Theme Park and Lewis MacLeod in UK release Theme Park World, helps the player with advice during gameplay.
