Playing this game for the first time having a blast, went full stupid and dropped my rep to two but got it back up to 9 by quest and donations but the flaming fist near the blacksmith won't leave me alone. Help.

If you've already made them hostile, then I'm not sure there is a long-term way to make them unhostile (short of killing them).

Charm type spells might work in the short run. Perhaps you can charm them and then park them in a corner of the map (or unused building?) that you'll then never visit again?

is charm an AOE? because there's more than one xD, might come back when I have fireball :(

Killing them is going to tank your rep (again), which (iirc) might cause another round of guards to spawn and start hunting you. However, it is a possible solution.

Charm is a single target spell, but you can memorize several of them. If nothing else, just kite the dudes to a corner of the map and then change zones.
You can also try sending a character forward to lure them far away at a location you won't visit any more, then turn invisible (with spell or potion) and sneak away without them seeing you.

Another option to try is killing all of them, accepting the reputation drop and donating at the temple afterwards to get reputation up again.

Or maybe they'll just disappear if you leave for a few days and return.

I tried making the days go by but they stay there no matter what. I going to try drag them somewhere with my mage/thief and hope for the best.
