RWarehall: "Frontier Development has been working with Atari since 2003, when the two struck a deal in order to develop RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 amongst other titles."

Now, if any of the other titles mentioned are on GoG, that might be a thing...
Yeah. Frontier's pretty shitty. They have their own roller coaster (Planet Coaster) game now (that's got always online connections, they said). And that came out after they did their 11th hour, right before release, addition of always online requirements to that Elite game.

Actually, looking into it further, I Guess Frontier did make the RCT2 expansions, that could be an issue. Their only work for RCT1 was porting it to the XBox, so that one should be safe.
Bumping since Zoom Software has some kind of issues with GOG over the game Killing Time:

And because of what's going on with Telltale, their titles could be at risk as well.

ZOOM is not the publisher of the game, so I don't think there will be any removal. According to ZOOM, GOG is using their version of the game, which possibly means that ZOOM had made necessary changes to Killing Time so that it could work on today's computers. If that's right, I guess, GOG either needs to get permission (if needed) to use ZOOM's version or they should start creating their own version. I don't think it will be a big issue. ZOOM is talking more about ethics than anything else. And ethics is important, and if GOG has done something wrong, they should fix it. GOG removed ZOOM's name from their FCK website on ZOOM's request as GOG didn't get any permission of ZOOM for using their name. GOG later apologized about the mistake on Twitter.
Doesn't GOG only release the files that the publishers give them?

So if there's any issues it's with whoever published the game.

No permission is needed for such a thing, though.

In terms of ethics, it is needed. GOG used ZOOM's name in their FCK DRM campaign, and ZOOM may not want to be part of it even though they also support DRM-free gaming. And they didn't want to be a part of it, so GOG removed their name.

As you can see it's already resolved and it was simply a misunderstanding :)
While we're at it, I wonder how can zoom-platform still sell Race Driver: Grid?

Their contract has different terms than GOG's or others who had to remove the game. This is their own words on Twitter: "In most cases, our contracts are structured differently than our competitors."

GOG sells Dragon Lore: The Legend Begins but the sequel, Dragon Lore II: The Heart Of The Dragon Man, currently is only available on the ZOOM Platform. Is there any chance of getting the sequel released here?

Or the old Duke Nukem games...

But Race Driver: Grid was removed from sale due to expired licences and I doubt that their contract allows them to sell it despite that, but IANAL...

Somehow Zoom lost me as potential customer. I absolutely can´t stand their arrogant undertone. Know what I mean?

Definitely. That Twitter thread started with me tweeting enthusiastically about finding that site for the first time. I chimed back in when they started to get prickly. I understand that they clearly have some issues with GOG, but I'm not a fan of how they chose to talk about it.

Those free games from their site are probably all I'll be getting from them any time soon.

They need to hire somebody who actually understands PR... their arrogant post made me never ever want to buy from them. And they think of themselves as a competitor to GOG, how cute. Never going to be with that attitude.
