It’s hard to get more atmospheric than with retro, VHS style horrors inspired by the 1980s slasher movies and games. And we’ve got incredible titles filled with just that!

Murder House and Christmas Massacre, both released by Puppet Combo are now available on GOG!

The first one is a PS1-style survival horror where a local news team breaks into an abandoned house to chase a salacious ghost story... until a MANIAC chases them! This themed as a VHS era 80's slasher will make you experience the terror of being stalked by a deranged serial killer.

Christmas Massacre on the other hand indulges in a very similar style but this time you it is you chasing and slashing your victims! It’s Christmas time and our character Larry has a very particular problem - his Christmas tree is telling him to KILL! Lead him through his murder rampage.

And if you’re hungry for more retro horror experiences, Soundtrack to FAITH: The Unholy Trinity - pixel art game inspired by the era of classic 8-bit gaming and the "Satanic Scare" of the 1980s, where as a young priest you struggle against demons, insane cultists, and your own weakening faith is also available on GOG! Time to blast some amazing, synthesized, 8-bit music.

Nice to see Murder House here but WHY was this not released when the spooky month was still happening? Would have been much more fitting imo. Hope to see more Puppet Combo games here in the future.

Also with those being released here now it would be great to see other good horror games like Lost in Vivo and Golden Light here too.

OK, having a full of nudity and sex is evil but it's cool to play as an ultra-violent serial kill, lol. I'm sure they will say that it was done with artist license and us the worn-out statement that "it's a satire of Christmas" or something. I'm sorry but these games creep me out.

Still funny how it is no problem that we can see a person slashed to death with all the blood directly on the store page in an animated gif - but we need double and triple warnings as well as age restrictions and region locks the moment a part of the naked body is shown .... just saying ;)

Edit: I guess i am no the only one thinking this way.

It's because everyone just knows that lady parts are inherently evil and corrupt innocent males. /s
