I just saw that in a Radiohead style move Championship Manager 2010 is available for preorder at "any price you want to pay".
I'll be curious to see how this works out in terms of sales. For what I'm assuming will be a relatively cheap game to make I could see it working well. There is no way I'd have bought thiis game normally as its not my usual sort of thing but I might just give it a go for a few quid. Of course if evveryone pays 1p it could be a disaster.
It's got a £2.50 "transaction fee" so the lowest you would beable to pay is £2.51 which is still kind of cheap I guess.

A lot cheaper than the £25 it costs to pre-order it boxed on Amazon.
Well, Championship Manager is inferior crap and hardly worth more than £2.50 anyway.
It's a good marketing strategy, but I think I will stick to Football Manager again.
