Hmm.. So we don't all get the same freebees...
This is what I was given:

Warsow
Treasure Adventure Game
Steel Sky
Ultima Savage Empire
Ultima IV
Dragonsphere
Tyrian 2000

tfishell: I'm surprised GOG hasn't started adding them ALL automatically. They should.
All free games are automatically added to new accounts. New games are not added to an account automatically, probably due to Teenagent.
In my opinion, the only freebies should be games that at one point were non-free retail games. It's ridiculous to put purely freeware games on it (referring specifically to Warsow), considering there are countless freeware games out there on the Internet that you can freely download without any store like GOG. We don't need GOG for that. If you're going to have one game like that, then why not include 50, or 100, or more? GoG should stick to being a digital store, that sells retail games (or occasionally gives away such games).

When a GOG user gets a freebie, it should be like "Woah! Thanks for the generosity GOG!" But if the thing has always been free, then that's not really much of a gift is it?

Because GOG supposedly tries to showcase the gems?

Electric_Messiah: Only unfortunate thing is I don't want to play any of these freebees. lol
Would you want to play Duke Nukem 3D instead? If so, I could offer you another freebie. :)

If by some bug or whatever you didn't get all of them, you can still claim them. Go to the link in Tfishell's post and find a game you might like, then attempt to 'purchase' it, which will be done at no charge.

Since I've been here, they've given away a lot of good games. And then they've almost given away a whole bunch more.

Free:

Carmageddon Max Pack
Dark Eye: Chain of Satinov
Fallout Tactics
Fallout 1
Fallout 2
Torchlight
Realms of Arkania 1 and 2
The Witcher
Empire Earth
Broken Sword 1
Jagged Alliance Deadly Games

And for a penny (pay what you want):
Divine Divinity
Conquest of the New World
MAX
Jagged Alliance 2
Shattered Steel
Screamer
Evolva
Kingdom
VR Soccer 96

GOG keeps giving lots of decent to stellar games for very ltitle to free. Thanks GOG!

And welcome to GOG, OP!

Great info everyone. Thanks.

No thanks on the Duke Nukem 3D.
I have lots of great games I still have not gotten around to installing.

I have yet to install or launch a GoG game.
However, if GoG provides an front end that installs & launches its game so the end user doesn't have to install & configure games in dos box or any of the older OSs, then that there is worth a bit of $. For this reason, I'd argue that it is worth a little $ to make free-ware or abandonware games available on current Win7/8, Linux & Mac OSs. .02

Now you know why I buy stuff here that I already own on disc. Oh sure I could get my Thief cd to work with a few hours of patching and tweeking, but for a few dollars I get it here and start playing immediately.

What does Teenagent have to do with it?

Don't you recall all those "Can I get Teenagent removed from my shelf" posts? I recall seeing quite a few of those, though the ability to hide a game in your shelf did stop them from appearing.

Oh I see; I don't really remember that but that would certainly explain it.
