bugamn: So, tomorrow we will see 2001's game?
I don't know. I think you're being optimistic...
I'm in two minds about buying Deus Ex on GOG. On the one hand I already have it on disk. On the other hand it would be useful and convenient to have a backup on GOG (and also it means I can let them worry about getting it working on Windows 27). But on the third hand what if I spend the monies now and then latter there's all these games I really really want?

Well at least I've got plenty of time to make up my mind!
So any wild speculation about the next games? Are there many 2001-2005 games on GOG?

After looking a bit through catalog, this is what I saw:

2001 - SWAT3 / Project EDEN
2002 - Htiman 2
2003 - Beyond Good and Evil
2004 - Farcry / Thief 3
2005 - Jade Empire / Total Overdose

IAmSinistar: EDIT: And bought. Second one I've picked up from the sale (other was Rayman). I'll be even more happy if both co-operate natively with an Xbox controller.
Rayman works with it. Soul Reaver seems to detect it but it's not working right.

Thanks, I might go with a keymapper in that case. Cheers!
Last night, I set my alarm to go off every 1.5 hours. I did however missed one sale though. JAGGED ALLIANCE; I fell asleep before it was time to get it.

1.2 GBP amounts to actual money? Things are that desperate?

It is a steal at this price!

I have strict budgets. Buying this might mean not buying a game I don't already own. but it depends what other games will be on sale (which, ironically I don't know despite have that time machine).

ericshead: The answer is: YES! Currently 1h 40m (and climbing) left in this sale!

IAmSinistar: I warned you all. Now there will be blood.
More than TWO HOURS left in the sale now!

I too have the CD-ROM with the GOTY patch, but I still bought it on GOG because a downloadable clean (DRM free) installer is superior in all ways except for during an internet outage with a computer that doesn't have the game already installed (horrible visual, I know).
Taking bets on how much longer Dude Sex is gonna last. I say 3 hours.

I'm just here for Far Cry (or UT2K4). Kinda bummed that UT99 wasn't the 1999 game.

I called a week shortly after the sale started. Perhaps a bit pessimistic, perhaps not...

A week? Maybe not. The rest of the day? Most likely.

It's like the opposite of the Keanening- whereas the game was so bad that nobody bought it and made the next one come slower, this time, the game is so popular that people keep upvoting it into oblivion, slowing the sale to a crawl.

My money's on DX running at least four hours and being the longest-lasting entry in the entire sale.
Fark me, sideways. With a prickly banananananananananana.

An hour ago, Deus Ex had 1:48:xx time left in this part of the sale.
Just checked again, and it's got 02:12:xx left.

STOP BUYING IT!!
I already got it! I want something I haven't got!!
