IMHO, Gog.com has the best selection of classic RPGs (the entire Ultima series, the entire Might and Magic series, etc.). In fact, it would extremely difficult if not impossible to play said games in modern computers without the method of distribution that Gog uses (with DOSBox for example). It's really awesome that we have these amazing games of the RPG genre available to us.
One thing I've always wished for on Gog is the classic Dungeons and Dragons games that use the Gold Box engine (Eye of the Beholder, Pool of Radiance, Krynn, etc.) We already have games in here that utilize the Dungeons and Dragons brand (Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale). So I was wondering if there are any other factors that would make it difficult for the Gog team to sell those games in here.
Presumably, a lot of old school RPG fans would buy them the day they came out.
Is there still hope or is it legally too much trouble to be able to distribute them here?
