I had a dream about the release day a couple of nights ago: Shadowrun was released, and I went to metacritic to see the review average. It was 40.

I think not being able to save as and when you want would be annoying...

Yeah watched TB's video pretty much summed it up. Wordy. Story is good. Colourful, nice art design. Combat is effective and solid. Inventory space is limited.Lots of exploration and discovering things. Can't go back to previous locations to explore from what i head tho..And the lack of saves.....

And surprise surprise it is Steam only. The DRM free version is for backers only, and they do NOT get any support as in updates, dlcs, etc etc.

What a shame :(

For some reason I haven't followed this at all, but now I'm interested. I'm always up for a good RPG, 'specially one that's not fantasy. It's cool to see that a lot of experienced Shadowrun DMs are already gearing up to make modules. I'll probably buy it shortly after release.

This looks like a solid game, I am tempted to get it.

The game sounds good to me, except the save point thing. That's just bad game design and needs to die in a fire.

Ah, crap, I probably only get to play it after work tomorrow... Sometimes it sucks to be on the other side of the globe. i hope they get the DRM-free version up real fast too, coz that's the one I'll be playing.
