I forgot to mention that I also got to play Wet while at QuakeCon today. It's a third-person shooter that's like Stranglehold if it were based on a Quentin Tarantino movie and not a John Woo movie. You jump, wall-run, dive, and slide down ladders in slo-mo, shooting along the way. There's also a sword you can pull out and cut people with. In one section of the level, a scripted scene played out where I cut a guy, and blood got in my character's eyes, causing her to see the world as red and her enemies in black and white. Slicing up baddies creates a visceral trail of white blood, something that reminds me of that one bar scene in Kill Bill. In the final stretch, I leaped onto the hood of a car, shooting enemies, jumping from car to car as they were about to crash, until I finally landed on my adversary's vehicle, smacked the gun out of his hands, grabbed the case, and leaped off before the thing crashed.
In the cutscene that followed, he was on the ground, trying to light a cigarette. My character walked up to him, smacked the cigarette out of his mouth and took the lighter. As she walked off, the injured man called her a bitch, to which she threw the lighter on the ground, causing the vehicle to burst in flames as she walked off.
The game has a constant film grain effect, and while it wasn't exactly the best-looking game I've seen, it does what it has to do to get the job done. Overall, I had a lot of fun with the game.
I'll be back tomorrow, when I'll (hopefully) get a chance to play Brink and Rage, and let you in on how that went.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that I also reached a courtyard at one point, where enemies were coming from three different locations. I had to destroy their entry points so they would stop spawning, and then kill the ones stuck in there with me.

Judging from the gameplay videos I thought this game might be kinda fun, but would be in danger of getting old quickly (especially if they didn't curb the slow-mo after the first few minutes) or feeling too much like a series of quicktime events.
Alas, it's console-only, so I guess I'll have to miss out on this one.

As the flesh melted from his bones, he called out something like "YOU KNOW THAT DOESN'T EXACTLY DISPROVE MY POINT, I HAVE TO SAY"
And here I thought this thread was going to be about Wet: The Sexy Empire...
It's a shame that Bethesda are neglecting the PC with this one as it does look good.

It could be a PC version will come later (possibly based on how well it sells on the consoles). That happened with Oblivion on the PS3.

Though I played it with a 360 controller, it seemed like it was running on the PC, because during a cut-scene I saw a framerate counter appear. Maybe it was a developer 360.

They've almost certainly got developer versions of the 360. With things like mouse and keyboard support - which is so tragically absent from the retail model (in any official capacity). I doubt it's polished enough yet for them to risk running it on the 360 proper just yet.

Possibly. Although usually, when there is no mention of PC support by this point, there is no plan to make a PC version.
