As said above.
I only game for the social aspect, especially when hanging about on online games :D

Hm before I state my reasons, I'd like to say the 'Question' option is not really suited for this topic.....
Anyway. I game for every reason, really: socialization, competition, story, message, graphics, entertainment, etc. Also I really enjoy seeing through the eyes of a character -- that's one of the most appealing aspects for me. Oh and yeah, breasts.

I definitely play to get away from reality.
It's also cool to roleplay in situations you may never find yourself. Say WWII, or in space, or amongst orcs and demons.

It's the chance to clone myself in an alternate existence.
