Like many good roguelikes, Balatro is the game that keeps on giving, with a load of variety and strategy - one of those "desert island" games. I want it on GOG for the simple fact that I want all my games on GOG and, like most of my Steam library, I'm sad that my purchase is stuck behind DRM. I would gladly double dip the second it arrived here.

Balatro was one I wasn't expecting to really enjoy, but ended up loving given some time. A (literal) deckbuilding roguelike with a lot of variety, cold calculating strategy, and exciting gambles on your runs survival. The simple aesthetic, easy listening ambience, and dopamine factor of a good run make this one for the ages. DRM-free would go a long way in keeping this one going, it's a perfect "desert island" title.
In theory, this game is pretty simple, yeah. After the first night, I spend playing this game i knew it was something special. It just has this, feeling, of a good arcade game, that pulls you back. A GOG release is all I want for this game Take my money

Balatro is the most fun way to play Poker I ever experienced. If you know how to play Poker to a degree. Partly that won't matter due to the additional stuff. You also with planet and tarot cards as well. You get a lot of interesting Joker cards that all differ in some way. The music will constantly bring you back. There's a lot of unlockables going to take you hours possibly months to get em all. Balatro is more on luck since you gotta take chances. In hopes you can move onto the next round. You do have the option to skip most of a set except the last within em. It's so satisfying to score huge in this game. Balatro is surprisingly addicting as hell. The game already on most platforms. I would really love to have it on GOG as well. Currently I owned it on Balatro, it was among my birthday presents from my brother. Balatro is the most unique card game I ever played!!!

This is a fun and addicting game, despite the simple nature of playing Poker Hand and trying to beat blind after blind to win. Buying Jokers, Planets, Tarot cards to build your deck and tip the odds in your favor feels good, and that dopamine rush when you score really big and completely decimate Boss Blinds make this game so addicting. No two runs are the same - the starting decks, the skip tags, what you're dealt with each blind, the shop... everything is randomized each time, and the Challenges are there for people who want an extra task on the side. It's a fantastic indie game developed by a single dev, and despite PEGI's 18+ rating claim, it's prefectly suitable for everyone 10+. There is absolutely no reason for Balatro to not be on GOG - it's on Steam, Consoles and Mobiles, having a DRM free version will please lots of people who want a copy to play offline.

It's not old, but already a classic. A fun, infinitely replayable take on poker. It really is one of those desert island games that I always find myself going back to, and I like to have a DRM-free version of those type of games on GOG.

Balatro is one of the most addicting games I've played in a long time, simple, isn't pushing anything, and endless replay-ability. It's just balatro. I could probably play this on a calculator and it would be just as fun. LET ME BUY IT TWICE AND FOREVER.....please

I'd love to know of any other card game where you can score 46 million points by playing a single card. And here's the thing: This isn't a gambling game; the only stakes are the point goals. It's a solitaire deckbuilder and a blast at that since it uses elements we're all (mostly) familiar with. But instead of playing the game straight, how about a little help from a joker who makes the card trigger twice when played? And the card is made of glass, has a red seal on it, and is a face card, so let's throw these other jokers in. Now we're talking the only kind of synergy I like. And that's how I scored 46 million points using a single card.

What made this game unforgettable? You spec an enjoyable card game, you obtain the best roguelike deck builder in 2024 or last decade. Is not poker but use all that aesthetics, the game feel is so polished, so well executed, is marvelous.

Balatro is a game with lots of reach, even to people who know nothing about games but like poker/solitaire. There are many people who just wish to have it on their computer without having to go through a launcher like steam, but just want to play the game.
Those games also need your vote!
