user avatar@babyfadeBest battle royale concept ever. Me and my friends had so much fun playing this game. I really hope it gets the chance and marketing it deserves! There’s no doubt that it will blow up with the right team behind it
WildStar

user avatar@PerthTeganIt actually chokes me up to think about it again because I loved it so much. I can honestly say without a shadow of a doubt that it was my favorite video game ever. The combat was so fluid and fast paced with short global cool downs and limited action sets for abilities. The dungeons and raids were my absolute favorite in any MMO that I have ever and yet to play. Nothing quite scratches that itch to this day. The housing system has yet to be matched in my opinion. When it shut down the MMO world lost something so incredibly special in terms of housing development and design. Being able to resize, record, and position items to your hearts content made for some amazing creations and really highlighted player creativity. I loved the sense of humor in game too. It was quirky and cartoony and didn’t take itself too seriously, which was refreshing. I guarantee you if it was still around I’d still be playing it pretty much daily like I was. Most importantly, it was the first MMO that I played where I actually made friends in game with which eventually grew into some pretty strong friendships over the years. It was an absolutely beautiful, chaotic mess of a game and I cherish the time that I was able to spend in it - which according to steam was just north of 3000 hours. RIP Wildstar. We still talk about you.

Doom: The Dark Ages - Premium Edition
user avatar@BribofLapisi think it should be perserved since even the developers themselves dont seem to want to perserve their own games anymore, buying a game should give you complete control over the copy of your product, and let you play even 50 years in the future
Blue Prince
Blue Prince
user avatar@hotlatina89This one's waaaaay too promising to not being played because it's only available on Steam. Give/Get us those mystery-puzzle-riddlers, pleeeeease! Also being a Small-Dev-10-year-project almost makes it a good old game naturally. :-)
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered - Deluxe Edition
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered - Deluxe Edition
user avatar@gideonsketching_99It‘s the best Open World game ever made, and simply the Classic RPG in my book. It deserves a GOG release! :) I played this on PS3 and countless PCs and will continue to do so
Desperate Housewives: The Game
Desperate Housewives: The Game
user avatar@JamiekinsThis game was a great representation of the show! The cooking game is top notch and I found myself loading up my completed game just to play it. The poker game was also fun.
Paladins
Paladins
user avatar@gongjucatI've played this game pretty much ever since it came out, it's so sad to see it come near to its end. Anyway, out of the hero shooter 5v5 kind of game, this game is the only one that I've consecutively played even if I took long breaks throughout. I still remember when Cassie had her original bow, when Ying used to be a damage, when Viktor was using his old design before it got replaced with a new one, when they revamped the entire battle pass gig and added quests and whatnot, I remember it all and it's memories now. I don't want this game to be gone forever, I don't want it to be forgotten, I've met many friends through this game and I still to this day meet new friends. It's got so many unique champions and the game has so much lore, heck I don't even know about it all. There's just so much more to appreciate with this game. It's a great game and I wish its legacy kept going!
Terranigma
Terranigma
user avatar@Blue-NovaOne of the later SNES releases, many of which were some of the greatest, too. Was lucky enough to get to play it back in the day, thanks to European release. It's a wonderful action adventure game with beautiful music, and varied atmosphere that ranges from whimsical to mysterious to downright terrifying at times. (I was terrified of the zombie town that seemed still scarier to me than any Resident Evil location just few years later.) This game absolutely deserves a new and bigger audience, and it seems that at least some of the original creators are not oppposed to the idea of a modern re-release either!
Blitz: The League II

user avatar@checker887787This game was designed very well and is a significant improvement over its predecessor. Unfortunately, you can tell that this was a very low budget operation.nn
Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter
Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter
user avatar@V_WeebThe rest of Falcom's main franchises have always been on GoG day-one including the Trails franchise. The Sky games are a lovely trilogy of games with a rich world, loveable characters and a charming narrative. Looking at my profile icon (if you're reading this in the future, it was set as Estelle Bright, the protagonist of the Sky games) it's no secret that I love the Trails series including Sky and it would be great to see the remake on here DRM-free to fully complete the Trails collection available on GoG.
MultiVersus
MultiVersus
user avatar@ShadowVictor75MultiVersus was the best platform fighter i ever played, it always gave me reasons to come back and keep playing, it made me fell at home. I knew since the first rumors back in 2021 that this game was made for me and was about to change my life forever. I don't think i ever enjoyed multiplayer in any game as much as i did in MultiVersus, the game was focused in 2v2, and the game was always encouraging me to find someone to play with, i was progressing with my teammates, and this geinuely was an amazing experience. I met so many nice people, learned about shows and movies that i never watched and improve my art skills thanks to this game. I saw MultiVersus more than just a game, it was something that helped me at my lowest. MultiVersus gave me opportunities that Nintendo didn't with Smash, and i want to thank all the devs for making this possible. Please let this game continue, i would be really happy if this somehow becomes a reality.
Evil Twin: Cyprien's Chronicles
Evil Twin: Cyprien's Chronicles
user avatar@WarbossAohdThis is a neat Horror Twisted Platformer that never left Europe.......Even though it's in English and ALMOST DID. So I think it's only fair we bring this onto GOG not just for the Europeans who got to play it originally, but for those of us who never got the chance.
Doom Eternal
Doom Eternal
user avatar@MegacycloWhile I find the gameplay more frustrating than Doom 2016 and I could do without all the memes that surrounded it, Doom Eternal is still a remarkable game, both graphically and mechanically, that deserves preservation. While it's pretty much DRM-Free (at least Denuvo-free) on Steam (if I(m not mistaken) -and the BethNet content is optional, I'd like to see a version here too, just like Doom 2016 was finally released (and even if SnapMap is heavily gimped it's useable somewhat), just to make sure we have an easily preservable build of the finished game. The intense action, over-the-top sequences and general mood make this a thrill ride like few others can boast, and it's now a piece of technical VG history that too deserves preservation. And of course please include the full Old Gods DLC, that we may experience the whole story.
Fury of the Furries
Fury of the Furries
user avatar@PraymettinThis is one of the grandfathers of platforming and a really unique one, with different Furries (fluff ball like aliens with wacky colors and abilities), each color having a different abilities, like a fire breathing red one and a green one that swings from a rope it shoots, like Spider-man. You were to solve and survive many different levels and each one was a challenge, mind you. It had so much personality that it can easily be a cartoon series. Gameplay is like Lost Vikings with more action, the furries trying to serve their king and blazing through many levels with different concepts. It also has a sequel in the works with a gameplay trailer too. This is a solid and classic Good Old Game that it is despicable that it is not already on GOG. It is one of the forgotten classics of platforming which was so much ahead with it's gameplay and a must play for the lovers of the genre.
Hi-Fi Rush
Hi-Fi Rush
user avatar@G3R4CIt's hard not to think that GOG is sleeping on its laurels when you realize that this game isn't on the GOG store... anyway I would buy it in a heartbeat! Let's make it happen, yes?
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
user avatar@ThePobloPlaying it right now on steam, about 20hrs in. And it is AMAZING. they have built an incredible world and story with characters you really get attached to. I am 1000% buying this again on GOG once it gets released, worth the double purchase full price, especially to support the devs. They did an incredible job, I cannot glaze this game enough. If i had the chance I would kiss each of the devs as a thank you for making such an incredible original story and game, and this is just their first game! What an opener! I know It's still early in the year but I'm calling it, Sandfall Interactive, congrats on the Game of the Year Award!
Fractured Space
Fractured Space
user avatar@ZachevFractured Space, despite being shut down almost a decade ago, is still my most played game on Steam. It's unique in that its a MOBA using capital ships in space and had a holy trinity of tank/healer/dps. The supports were especially fun to play as they actually had offensive capabilities that could be woven in-between healing cooldowns, which gave skilled support players a lot of impact. This is something not many games pull off well, but FS did. Ship controls were great, with 6 degrees of movement. (Up/Down, Forward/Back, Strafe Left/Right, Turn Left/Right). This is the primary thing that set it above a similar game called Dreadnought, as having strafing changed how you'd maneuver to avoid fire in combat drastically. It also made moving around objects much easier, which is important because the big neutral objective in the base game mode is a capture zone with a big station in the middle of it that you can use for cover. Your ship has a set amount of armor on each of the 6 facings. (Front/Back/Left/Right/Top/Bottom.) Once its broken, you take roughly double damage when being hit on that facing, so protecting damaged facings via maneuvering was an important part of combat. The ships all have unique models and abilities. I cannot sing praise of the artists and designers enough. Even a decade later, I still think its a great looking sci-fi game. Some skins like the Charon for the Colossus definitely stand above the rest. (Check Artstation for the "USR Charon" Colossus) All that said, FS is a niche game. The overlapping portion of the gaming Venn diagram for MOBA players and sci-fi game players is pretty small, and FS lacks a solid PVE mode. The devs tried to cover this with Last Stand, but it just never caught on. Still though, its a shame to see a game I loved and put over a thousand hours into gathering dust after Wargaming bought out Edge Case Games and shut it down. I'd love to see something done with it.
Doom: The Dark Ages
Doom: The Dark Ages
user avatar@Elias_ChoudhuryI played Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal, and both are amazing. These are both awesome games that I always return to. You guys have most of the Doom catalog, and the community would drool for a DRM-free newer title like DTDA. That'll instantly sell lots of copies. Please add this to GOG's store, and you won't regret it!

Rage 2
Rage 2
user avatar@katieterk2002hy RAGE 2 on GOG Is the Most Underrated id Software Game RAGE 2 is often overlooked in discussions of id Software’s greatest hits, but it deserves way more credit than it gets. A collaboration between id Software and Avalanche Studios, RAGE 2 fuses the brutal, kinetic gunplay of DOOM with a vibrant open world full of chaos, color, and mayhem. It may not have made the biggest splash at launch, but beneath the surface lies one of the most fun and explosive shooters of the modern era—making it a perfect fit for preservation on GOG. Where RAGE 2 truly shines is its combat. The gunplay is fast, punchy, and deeply satisfying. Weapons feel powerful, with smart design and excellent feedback—classic id Software magic. Add in the Nanotrite abilities like Shatter, Slam, and Overdrive, and you’ve got a combat loop that feels like DOOM on steroids. It’s not just about shooting—it’s about dominating the battlefield with style. The open world is loud, weird, and refreshingly unpretentious. While the story isn’t groundbreaking, it leans into its absurdity, delivering a punk-rock Mad Max vibe with over-the-top vehicles, mutant convoys, and neon-soaked towns. The tone may be wild, but the gameplay is razor-sharp. Bringing RAGE 2 to GOG would let it live on DRM-free, giving players the freedom to mod, tinker, and enjoy it without restrictions. It’s the kind of cult classic that benefits from second chances—and GOG is the perfect place for that. If you love high-octane FPS action with attitude, RAGE 2 is a hidden gem that deserves a lot more love.

Clive Barker's Jericho: Special Edition
Clive Barker's Jericho: Special Edition
user avatar@NalyWinchesterA friend of mine spoke highly of this game a short while ago, he says it was on Steam and they removed the page, probably due to incompatibility with new OS so it might not run as it should on PC. I would be happy if you could recover this gem and make it available on GOG. Unfortunately I have not had direct experience with it, but I would like to recover it. Thanks again for this fantastic preservation operation! Keep on keeping on!

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Silent Hill
Silent HillSilent Hill is the first installment in the Silent Hill series of psychological survival horror video games. Unlike earlier survival horror games that focused on protagonists with combat training, the main character Harry Mason is an average man. The gameplay consists of combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving. The controller vibration is used to indicate Harry's heartbeat and will vibrate on low health. The player must regularly enter an inventory screen to check Harry's health, use items, and equip different weapons.

Breath of Fire IV
Breath of Fire IV
In a far-away world, two continents float, separated by a vast swamp-land. For eons, no contact existed between the two continents because ships couldn’t sail across the expanse. At last, when the historic first contact was made between the two powers, war erupted! After long and costly fighting between the Fou Empire in the west and an alliance of countries in the east, both sides exhausted all their strength and resources. With no other alternative, the two powers agreed to an armistice. One year later, Princess Elina vanished. She had been traveling in the east from town to town, exploring battlegrounds and visiting war veterans. Her trail vanished in a small town near the front line. Nobody knew her whereabouts! The Eastern Alliance wanted to avoid sending a large army to the front. Such a move would be a political blunder, breaking the armistice and stirring up hostilities. It became impossible to carry out a large-scale search for Elina. Time passed... with no sign of the princess. Elina’s sister, Princess Nina, finally makes up her mind. She leaves on a journey in search of her sister – by herself. Ryu Ryu meets Nina while he is lying unconscious on a street in a desert town in the eastern continent. His race and native land are unknown. Ryu has a Dragon’s Eye, which empowers him with the amazing abilities to transform into a dragon and summon dragons. Nina The princess of Wyndia, a town of the Fae tribe (winged folk). Nina meets Ryu on her journey to seek her lost sister Elina. Though somewhat naïve, Nina is skilled in Healing magic. Scias A mercenary soldier, Scias was hired by the eastern side during the war. Scias becomes the party’s watcher. He is very quiet and aloof from the world. Scias can perform a powerful double attack with his sword. Cray A young leader of the Woren tribe (cat people) in the eastern alliance, Cray joins Nina to search for Princess Elina, his childhood friend. He has a strong sense of responsibility and acts as the leader of the party. His high offensive and defensive abilities are very dependable. Ershin Ershin wears completely sealed armor to protect her from any kind of curse. Since she wears the armor all the time, no one knows her real face or background. She meets the party in a mysterious place polluted by a curse and decides to join them. Ursula Ursula is a middle-class leader of the Fou Empire. She came to the eastern continent in search of dragons, and meets up with Ryu and his companions. Ursula was brought up in the military, and knows very little about worldly concerns. She is excellent at attacking with both magic and weapons. Fou-Lu Fou-lu unified the western continent single-handedly with his paranormal powers. He became the first emperor of the Fou Empire several hundred years ago. Despite his youthful look, he has mystic dignity. It is said that he predicted his own resurrection as he passed away. Here’s how we ensured that this masterpiece is better than ever and what you can expect with GOG’s version of the game: Full compatibility with Windows 10 and Windows 11 Both 2 localizations of the game included (English and Japanese) Improved DirectX game renderer New rendering options (Windowed Mode, Vertical Synchronization Control, Gamma Correction, Integer Scaling, Anti-Aliasing, and more) Improved audio engine (restored missing environmental sounds and audio configuration) Improved keyboard and mouse support Improved Warehouse and Crane minigames Improved F9 exit screen Issue-free battle and combo system (all crashes have been fixed) Issue-free cutscene scripting Issue-free task switching Full support for modern controllers (Sony DualSense, Sony DualShock4, Microsoft Xbox Series, Microsoft Xbox One, Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch, Logitech F series and many more) with optimal button binding, vibration, hotplugging and wireless mode Let’s go back in time to the PlayStation 1 era and reminisce about how Breath of Fire IV was presented to gamers back in 2000: After centuries of war, the two lands bordering an impenetrable swampland have finally reached an armistice. Mysteriously, the noble Princess Elina disappears somewhere near the war-ravaged front lines. Distraught, her sister Nina goes in search of the Princess alone and on her journey, meets a mysterious young warrior named Ryu. Their destinies soon entwine. The next chapter in the epic tale of magic and mystery now unfolds. The fate of what lies ahead rests in your control. Lost Odyssey
Lost OdysseyLost Odyssey is set in a world in which a "Magic-Industrial Revolution" is taking place. While magic energy existed in all living creatures beforehand, it suddenly became far more powerful thirty years before the beginning of the game. Because of this, it has affected society greatly, with devices called "Magic Engines" harnessing this power for lighting, automobiles, communication, and robots, among other uses. While previously only a select few could wield magic, many magicians gained the ability. However, such progress has also caused two nations to develop new and more powerful weapons of mass destruction. The kingdom of Gohtza and the Republic of Uhra (which recently converted from a monarchy). Uhra is building Grand Staff, a gigantic magic engine, while the heavily industrialized Gohtza actively pursues magic research of their own. A third nation, the Free Ocean State of Numara, remains isolated and neutral, though it is falling into disarray due to a general attempting to stage a coup d'etat. Uhra, at war with Khent, a nation of beastmen, sends its forces to the Highlands of Wohl for a decisive battle at the start of the game.

MechWarrior 2: 31st Century Combat
MechWarrior 2: 31st Century CombatYou are the genetically engineered Clan Mechwarrior. The Clans are invading the Inner Sphere. Join either the Wolf Clan or the Jade Falcon Clan as they pursue their own agenda against the Inner Sphere and other Clans. Take your advanced Omnimechs into battle against all comers. Win high warrior ratings (by using less mechs or smaller mechs than needed, completing secondary objectives, etc.) and you'll get chance at a promotion trial where you face superior odds in an arena. If you win, you advance in rank. If you are very successfully, you can make it all the way up to Khan, leader of the Clan! Mechwarrior II was developed in-house by Activision as the successor to their original Mechwarrior. While this time there are no dynamic campaign and mercenary actions, the Clan culture is integrated into the two campaigns. Different clans have different mechs and different rules, even different weapons. You can customize your mechs in order to use less than the "par" force in order to get a higher rating. The full 3D environment wasn't pretty as this was before the 3D accelerators made their debut, but it's still better than anything that came before. Let addition of NetMech allowed users to fight each other online. When 3D cards came along, special versions were created to take advantage of 3D texturing. While not QUITE as replayable as Mechwarrior, it's nonetheless a classic. If you want them now, get the Titanium Edition, which is 3D accelerated.

Does high number of votes for a game mean that it will be released sooner?
A high number of votes shows strong interest, which influences both GOG and IP owners. However, we can’t guarantee that every highly-voted game will be released.
How does my vote help to preserve games?
