Why DOOM: The Dark Ages Needs to Be on GOG DOOM: The Dark Ages is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated reimaginings in id Software’s legendary franchise. With its brutal gameplay, medieval setting, and gritty tone, it serves as both a fresh take on the DOOM universe and a return to its raw, hellish roots. A game this bold and stylistically distinct deserves to be preserved and celebrated on a DRM-free platform like GOG. GOG has become a haven for fans of classic and modern PC gaming alike, prioritizing ownership, preservation, and player freedom. DOOM is a cornerstone of PC gaming history, and each new title in the series carries that legacy. By releasing The Dark Ages on GOG, id Software and Bethesda would be giving fans the ability to truly own the game—no launchers, no DRM, just pure DOOM. Given that GOG already supports many entries in the DOOM franchise—DOOM 1, 2, 3, 64, and DOOM (2016)—it makes perfect sense to continue the tradition. With its mix of close-range combat, dark fantasy vibes, and a heavier focus on lore and world-building, The Dark Ages could attract both long-time DOOM fans and newcomers. GOG is the perfect platform for keeping that experience intact and unchained from the limitations of other digital storefronts. If DOOM: The Dark Ages truly aims to be a raw, immersive, and timeless shooter, GOG is where it belongs—right alongside the legends.
DOOM was the second shooter that I played (the 1st was Heretic) and I am a fan ever since. As for DTDA I will wait for it as long as it takes to get it on GOG. How long you ask? Well, these days I'm having fun for the first time with DOOM (2016), recently released on GOG. I also got it dirt cheap (not so important though) and virtually bug free. Why wait so long? Because I hate DRM.
I played Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal, and both are amazing. These are both awesome games that I always return to. You guys have most of the Doom catalog, and the community would drool for a DRM-free newer title like DTDA. That'll instantly sell lots of copies. Please add this to GOG's store, and you won't regret it!

From the description I've read, Doom: The Dark Ages seems to be the most straight action-packed and simple modern Doom game. You can just blast your way with just 1 gun that you like (per Jarek The Gaming Dragon) and Dark Ages doesn't force you to combo your way through the game and all those aspects appeal to me more than anything that modern Doom has done since 2016. Please relase The Dark Ages here on GOG!
As long there's Denuvo I'm not buying. I loved the doom series of games but the use of Denuvo is a deal breaker for me. If they remove the DRM or bring it to GOG DRM free I'll buy
With the physical copy not even having the actual game on the disk and the PC version having Denuvo, it is more important than ever to sell a drm free copy of this game on GOG with a proper definition of ownership.
A GOG release is needed for this game as there is no other way to future proof the game for an individual to have full ownership. Enjoyed all of the previous ones and would love to play this one.
Those games also need your vote!
Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy
Psi-Ops: The Mindgate ConspiracyPsi-Ops is an action game with a twist: no longer do you have to rely solely on big weapons and explosions to progress through it - you also have the aid of psychic powers to take down army after army of enemy soldiers. In the game you take the role of Nick Scryer, a secret agent who had his face reconstructed and mind wiped clean in order to infiltrate a growing psychic organization calling itself The Movement. Nick, however, is captured, but manages to free himself and continue his mission to stop The Movement, regaining his psychic abilities along the way. The game mixes regular weapons with the weapons of the mind. You'll have access to a series of mind powers, such as Telekinesis (the ability to fling object and soldiers around), Pyrokineses (the ability to set things on fire), Mind Drain (for draining Psi power out of foes' minds) and Remote Viewing (leaving your body behind and exploring the level).

Medal of Honor: European Assault
Medal of Honor: European AssaultThere are four overall areas the player (as Lt. William Holt) will be sent to: France, North Africa, the Soviet Union and Belgium. Each area has a set of missions for the player to complete. While some objectives will be detailed from the start, exploration of the area will cause Holt to discover more missions. Each mission consists of five elements: a primary objective, secondary objectives, killing a German officer (Nemesis battle in the game), obtaining documents from the officer and escaping. If all are completed, a gold medallion will be given. Missing one or two will gain a silver or bronze. Most missions involve Holt fighting alongside allied NPCs and working towards a common objective, often based on historical events during WWII. However, as a member of the OSS, Holt also has secondary objectives for each level, including finding documents and eliminating important German officers, such as henchmen belonging to the antagonist Graf Von Schrader.

Wolfenstein
WolfensteinWolfenstein is the direct sequel to Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Spear of Destiny/Wolfenstein RPG. It featured a "re-imagined" disguised dark-haired B.J. Blazkowicz, retaining the unshaven look seen in Return to Castle Wolfenstein and dressed in civilian clothes rather than his usual military uniform. The game mainly consists of the player shooting his way through hordes of different types of Nazis, ranging from normal soldier to ninjas. To deal with the large amount of enemies, the player has access to many typical WWII-weapons like the German MP40 or K98 rifle. In addition, during the course of the game he finds the medallion and learns four powers. While at first entering the Veil only allows him so see enemies more clearly and use strange flying creatures as bombs, he is later able to slow down time, surround himself with a protective shield or make himself stronger. However, the medallion's powers drain its energy, which needs to be refilled at power-spots that are nearly invisible in the real world.
