Stop basing your opinions of things based on reviews made by semi literate YouTubers from previous decades. If you go in fresh, you’ll see the music is awesome, it’s fun in parts and a bit slow in others. It’s worth a run through for 5 bucks. I finished the base game twice and played a bit of the expansion. This needs to be released with original art, interviews, history video with modern takes, etc.

I played this game quite late - 1-2 years ago, long time after its relase but man! We need more uncompromising games like this in current boring times of political correctness! I really enjoyed it despite some clunky parts, absolutely loved the humor, half-naked chicks and monster truck driving segments! It feels like Dan Bilzerian simulator. :P

Hatte es auf PS3 ist ein schönes Spiel, Würde mich sehr freuen wenn es zu gog kommt. Die Duke Nukem Spiele waren auf gog bis sie entfernt wurden. Bitte bringen sie die Serie zurück
My cousin and I managed to purchase the game just for the hell of it just to see what was the ending of the game. I honestly say it was a decent enough game on the Xbone 360 to go through more of it. One thing however stopped me. There was some kind of restaurant section of the game and I had shrunk down to the size of an action for some reason and I had to punch a bunch of Duke Nukem happy meal boxes to progress. I decided to stop destroying the boxes to see what it said on the happy meal boxes. It was a crossword puzzle. The words you had to find was 'blow it out your ***', and '***down your neck'. There wasn't enough words to enough fit the words on the box, yet alone find it. We never laughed harder at a Duke Nukem game in our lives. ...Yeah this game deserves to be put on GoG.

This should be on GOG, but under the condition that the 2002 build has to be released. The final product wasn't bad per say, but it was extremely disappointing after nearly 15 years of waiting. We we're promised something much bigger during the start of the millennium, and honestly based on what people say, they should show their colors more with said lost beta. I know the Restoration Project exists, but that's based on a much earlier and more incomplete build. I and many others simply curious about what was finished. And hey, maybe throw in the Quake II build and other goodies in there! Really give everyone what they want for this game's lengthy legacy.
Duke Nukem Forever is a game that built a lot of hype over the years and when it came out, it completely let down many fans including myself. Overtime, I grew more appreciation for this game with the amount of variety it offered including platforming, puzzle solving, interaction with many objects, and being able to explore around the Duke Burger tower the size of an action figure. Duke Nukem Forever may not win everyone over, but it is a love letter to those that deeply care for this character and franchise if looked at the right way. This is a piece of video game history that deserves to be preserved. I would really love to see DNF brought over to GOG DRM-Free as a part to keep Duke’s legacy alive, because Duke Nukem should always be remembered as the hero that is forever.

I am going to be brutally honest I don't think it was that bad!!! A lot of people claimed it to be among the worst games. Then your standards are rather unrealistic to the actual worst games ever!!! Sure it wasn't a decent follow up to one of the greatest FPS games of all time. Honestly this game still fun to play for hours. The first campaign in unexpected ways can be somewhat fun. It's not the greatest Duke Nukem campaign neither the worst. The DLC second campaign was among my favorite Duke Nukem campaigns ever. This is the one you can easily replay. Some of the best jokes in years as well. The multiplayer is surprisingly decent for a game of it's reception. Already a good amount of the game actually worth playing people often ignore. I can't deny this was a huge disappointment. At the same time, Duke Nukem Forever still had some fun ideas. Even if the game virtually a parody of Half-Life 2. Essentially a recreation of Half-Life 2 and it's two episodes. Which might've been the secret reason why people hated it. Duke's voice actor later done the Postal Dude in Postal 4. All of a sudden people realizing that may wanna play this game. I do think this Duke Nukem game can sell well here.

For all its flaws and given the miserable, pretty much dead state of Duke nowadays, with his ultimate outing (not counting 20th Anniversary) being a coat of paint for Bulletstorm, I still think this game deserves more love. I had pretty given up on it at all, just taking it as a sad inside joke on vidya hubris and vaporware, when I got a code for the demo oin my GotY edition of Borderlands on the 360. I played the 2 or 3 levels offered and was surprised I found them decent enough. So something clicked in me and I felt like this was gonna be a swansong. So I ordered the Balls of Steel edition on the 360 and got a free bonus t-shirt I still own (though the fabric is VERY thin and the print started wearing out quickly). And I regret nothing. This game was like an older cousin, the one who got you dirty mags and sneaked you into the theater to watch Die Hard when you were a little too young, coming around and trying to recall "the good times" while bumming you of a few bucks to take a train because "he's back on track and will make it big again". It's a cobbled together piece of vidya flotsam for sure, but I didn't hate it, I did 100% achievements on both the main game and its DLC, and I never regretted it and even played some fun casual MP. The MP is really good and fun and probably the best part, but I cant hate the main game, it's a swansong and I'll always respect it for that. I like DNF, I'll never be ashamed of admitting it, and I'll always insist it deserves preservation. Like Daikatana, like Eradicator, hell even like Tekwar, like so many janky games of the past that were important moments in vidya history. So can please someone save Duke from Gearbox and 2K, let us buy his games everywhere (while I respect Zoom Platform though) and maybe some fan projects or new games? He deserves better than being a cash shop skin in Fortnite (please tell me he isn't).
