A collaboration between id Software and Avalanche Studios, RAGE 2 fuses the brutal, kinetic gunplay of DOOM with a vibrant open world full of chaos, color, and mayhem. It may not have made the biggest splash at launch, but beneath the surface lies one of the most fun and explosive shooters of the modern era—making it a perfect fit for preservation on GOG.
Where RAGE 2 truly shines is its combat. The gunplay is fast, punchy, and deeply satisfying. Weapons feel powerful, with smart design and excellent feedback—classic id Software magic. Add in the Nanotrite abilities like Shatter, Slam, and Overdrive, and you’ve got a combat loop that feels like DOOM on steroids. It’s not just about shooting—it’s about dominating the battlefield with style.
The open world is loud, weird, and refreshingly unpretentious. While the story isn’t groundbreaking, it leans into its absurdity, delivering a punk-rock Mad Max vibe with over-the-top vehicles, mutant convoys, and neon-soaked towns. The tone may be wild, but the gameplay is razor-sharp.
Bringing RAGE 2 to GOG would let it live on DRM-free, giving players the freedom to mod, tinker, and enjoy it without restrictions. WolfensteinWolfenstein is the direct sequel to Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Spear of Destiny/Wolfenstein RPG. It featured a "re-imagined" disguised dark-haired B.J. Blazkowicz, retaining the unshaven look seen in Return to Castle Wolfenstein and dressed in civilian clothes rather than his usual military uniform.
The game mainly consists of the player shooting his way through hordes of different types of Nazis, ranging from normal soldier to ninjas. To deal with the large amount of enemies, the player has access to many typical WWII-weapons like the German MP40 or K98 rifle. In addition, during the course of the game he finds the medallion and learns four powers. While at first entering the Veil only allows him so see enemies more clearly and use strange flying creatures as bombs, he is later able to slow down time, surround himself with a protective shield or make himself stronger. Need for Speed: Underground 2Need For Speed Underground 2 takes place in Bayview after the events of Need for Speed: Underground. The prologue begins with the player driving in a Nissan Skyline R34 in Olympic City (though the racing scenes are actually in Bayview), the setting of NFS:UG. He then receives a race challenge from a rather ominous personality who offers him a spot on his crew, but "won't take 'no' for an answer." The player races off — despite Samantha's warnings — only to be ambushed by a mysterious driver in a rage that totals his Skyline. The driver, who has a unique scythe tattoo, makes a call confirming the accident, and the flashback fades out.Trending Action
