Story:Bloody Roar: Primal Fury is a fighting game released by Eighting in 2002. It is an updated version of the PS2 game Bloody Roar 3. Players can control a number of characters which have the ability to morph into powerful animals, such as tigers and wolves.

Bloody Roar Primal Fury was one of the best out of the series just for its controls, feel, game mechanics, and new moves added to each character to further diversify the cast. It didn't have the best story and most Bloody Roars would have benefitted from having a deeper story mode, but without a doubt, this one's gameplay, its additional unlockables, characters, and modes made it the best.
Another really incredible thing about Bloody Roar Primal Fury was how it's match variety went through the roof. Due to mechanics like being able to cancel your jumps, not just jump cancelling moves but the opposite, or how you can guard cancel specials, choose to air recover in any direction or attack in the air behind or in front of yourself in during an air recovery, or the perfect timing dodge system, hyper beast forms having unique traits and allowing cancelling off of even more of the character's move set, and so much more, this game literally had no ceiling in its potential. It's a shame it was a Gamecube/Xbox only release and not released on the PS2 after Bloody Roar 3.
Now the only way to play it is through emulation and this game is STILL played competitively to this day. Bloody Roar NEEDS to come back as one of the most fun and insanely deep 3D fighting games. It incorporated a combination of 2D fighting game elements that you would never see in a 3D fighting game, making it the Marvel Vs Capcom of 3D fighters.

A barbarian hero jumps and fights his way through a variety of colourful, enemy-packed levels. The sprawling, eight-way scrolling, two-dimensional levels are packed with hidden bonuses to encourage and reward exploration. Though a percentage of these bonuses consist of dubious and often self-evident "advice", most come in the form of "Zenny coins", currency that allows the player to buy such items as an upgrade to their weapons and armour, keys for treasure chests, and anti-poisoning potions. Special items that reveal coins, upgraded armour, full vitality, extra lives, extra time, or simply bonus points may be found by attacking certain walls. Ryuhi possessed the 6th volume of the Secret Scrolls, the Shingan-no Sho, or book of the mind's eye which Juan had managed to save. Ryuhi begins his journey to Shorinji in compliance with Juan's last request. Gengai, the bishop of Shorinji welcomed the little Ryuhi, regarded as one of the titans of Shourinji Kempo. Six years later, they received a letter of challenge from the Tusk Soldiers, a mysterious organization of enemies of the Shorinji. Ryuhi is determined to take part in the upcoming "World Tournament of Contact Sports" as a representative of Shorinji. His desire is to prevent the Tusk Soldiers from becoming champions of Contact Sports at the tournament. Ryuhi heard from Gengai that in truth it was the Tusk Soldiers who attacked his teacher and robbed him of the Secret Scrolls. As he leaves for the World Tournament, his thoughts are on his teacher Juan and keeping the fighting spirit burning. The game features combat in a variety of formats, such as kicking and using fireballs to repel monsters in scrolling stages, a system during one-on-one duels against Tusk Soldiers or a pair of martial arts tournaments where the player must attack a mark that appears on their opponent's body, or defend the area when it appears on them (this system is similar to Culture Brain's original Flying Dragon for the NES), and RPG-style command battles against monster bosses. When confronted by a Tusk Soldier or other otherworldly villain, Rick can change into a costumed superhero form or switch with one of his teammates. The player must switch to Flying Warrior form to use the characters' magic powers and defend themselves from the Tusk Soldiers' magic spells.Action

Spawn: The EternalSpawn: The Eternal is based on Todd McFarlane's Spawn comics. The game switches back and forth between two styles of play. There's an exploration mode, which is along the lines of Tomb Raider. Spawn must climb and jump his way through a variety of environmental obstacles while smashing crates and furniture to find power-ups.
When you approach an enemy, however, the engine switches into something between a 3D fighting game and an old-fashioned side-scrolling beat-em-up. Spawn must defeat one or more enemies, who may be surrounding him before he can continue.Action Horror
