this game was very buggy back in the day, and i remember loving it, even as a non english speaker at the time i had a blast with it, today it might be outdated, but i want to play it anyway. i did try the abandonware version and could not make it work. Thanks in advance
It’s a game that I just love so much but my pc doesn’t support it at that time. So a I spent a lot on lan houses to play. For freedom and for being back those child memories.

I've been waiting for this to be on GOG since GOG came into existence! Hope they make it work! Will buy again! Back in the Total War Rome and Total War Medieval days, Tartan Army (Braveheart) was in production. It was the big hype, offering a unique campaign map, satellite topography, and everything the Total War games didn't offer, but what we Total War players wanted. To this day the campaign map is unmatched by any Total War Style game ever released. It is truly where Braveheart really shines. I crave to play that again! Then suddenly, they dropped the name Tartan Army, slapped Braveheart on it, and released the game. A little bit of a buggy mess, but I still sunk many many hours throughout the years into the game. To this day I still own a copy of the game in a jewel disk unopened. I thought of building an old computer to spec just to play the game, but hoping GOG will save me from having to do that! Please GOG! Braveheart!
This game ain't very good, but the fact it is based on one of the best history-inspired movies of all time makes it a perfect candidate for the traditionally flawless GOG treatment! Make it happen please :(
After watching the movie, saw this game. Bought it for $12 in clearance few years later. I wanted to run it on my system with a NVIDIA GeForce MX 200 32MB. Well, the game still ran slow and crashed in the middle of the battle. I was beyond frustration, but thanks to Ages of Empires Conquerors I forgot of this game. Game only have clans but no Mel Gibson.
Those games also need your vote!
