The characters are the best thing about this game. All of them are so nice, even the enemies, and the predictable and cheesy ending is somehow perfect too. It's exactly how I wish the real world could be. Oh, and the gameplay... that's also good. The difficulty and complexity are just enough to feel challenging without being frustrating (to a person like me with average ability at this sort of game).

A fantastic deckbuilder roguelike with a slay-the-spire path chooser. You use cards to move objects (including yourself) on a few 1D planes, as well as shoot, block, deploy objects, and some more esoteric things. The mix-and-match card pool via character selection makes for a huge pool of combos to make emergent strategies out of. Hope to see this DRM-free at some point.

The Legend of Zelda: Third Quest
The Legend of Zelda: Third QuestBS The Legend of Zelda was an expanded and remade version of famicom The Legend of Zelda that was released for the Satellaview attachment of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in Japan. The gameplay was identical to its predecessor, but the maximum of Rupees was increased to 999 (rather than 255), the overworld was altered, and dungeons were completely different. There is some allusion to this game being a "Third Quest", much like The Legend of Zelda's Second Quest.

Codename: Panzers - Cold War
Codename: Panzers - Cold WarA major armed conflict is brewing between the Western powers and the Soviet bloc. The Red Army has been growing ever stronger since the end of World War II. With the growth of their army the Soviets realize that they hold the advantage, and are only waiting for the right moment to attack. That moment arrives with the Tempelhof Incident: the near-fatal collision of a US cargo plane and a Soviet fighter over Berlin's main airfield. A fatal combination of coincidence and human error, there is no point in arguing what went wrong, no point in asking who pulled the trigger first and who fired on whom in return. The Incident went down in history as fatal.

Shenmue I & II
Shenmue I & II"Originally released for the Dreamcast in 2000 and 2001, Shenmue I & II is an open world action adventure combining jujitsu combat, investigative sleuthing, RPG elements, and memorable mini-games. It pioneered many aspects of modern gaming, including open world city exploration, and was the game that coined the Quick Time Event (QTE). It was one of the first games with a persistent open world, where day cycles to night, weather changes, shops open and close and NPCs go about their business all on their own schedules. Its engrossing epic story and living world created a generation of passionate fans, and the game consistently makes the list of “greatest games of all time”."

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of AgesThe Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages is one of two Zelda titles released for the Game Boy Color, the other being Oracle of Seasons. The game retain many gameplay elements from Link's Awakening such as the graphics, audio and top-view perspective. It also features eight dungeons and a large overworld to explore like in the previous games. Oracle of Ages is said to be more puzzle-oriented than its counterpart being more action-oriented. After completing one of the two games, both can be linked to form a single linear plot with an alternate ending. Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons were often credited as being two of the top games for the Game Boy Color.
