Story:Dust is a point-and-click adventure game with integrated full-motion-video characters. Players explore the town of Diamondback, New Mexico in the 1880's solving mysteries and enacting vigilante justice.
This was the first computer game. My dad and I spend days playing it. We wrote and compared notes on all the different interactions and items. Once we learned there were different paths and endings we bought the stragey guide. I used to play it once every year, but the disk is not working with newer hardware. My fear is the disc becoming unusable or the oldest PC I have breaking down. I would love to play a GoG version that will last forever.
I loved playing this when I would visit my dad growing up. I was around 14 or so. This was in the beginning of the internet age. It was challenging, weird and funny. I would love to play this again!
This is one of the first games of this genre that I remember playing. I wish I could remember how I came to play it though. I never finished it as a kiddo, so it'd be cool to do it today.
In have played this many times (and finished), even installed a retro windows98se computer last year so I could play it. Doesn't seem to work with my newly built retro win98se though (gfx card to new i think)
It is an amazing adventure game and I would love to be able to play it without original hardware!
I still own the box and the cd.
I love this game.
