Story:F-22 Total Air War, also known as Total Air War or by its acronym TAW, is a fighter jet flight simulator game released in 1998 centering on the F-22 Raptor fighter aircraft. The game was published by Infogrames Entertainment and then later by Atari and was developed by Digital Image Design. The notable features in the game include the ability for the player to dynamically alter their flight campaigns and the realistic physics engine. The storyline in the game revolves around a war campaign over the Red Sea between two ambiguous fighting forces which both feature modern air-combat sorties that are launched against each other in an all out total aerial war.Show more

This game was a lot of fun to play. You could play as an AWACS air battle manager or you could direct and plan other missions. It was fun just watching the campaign play out and watch all the battles. Of course, it's not super realistic, but it was still a solid sim to play.
One of the best simulation games of all time , I played it in 1998 and I still do :)
It took me a long time and effort to launch it on Win 10, but it's possible so a version that simply installs would be great. We used to play it with my brother, he did the flying, I was Goose, kept my eye on the radar and weapon systems :) Love it :)
I look forward to play not only this but all the DID air simulations.
I played the Super Ef-2000 but I always wanted to play the other games.
Please bring those games back, DID games were a big part of my childhood/teenager.

MechWarrior 2: 31st Century CombatYou are the genetically engineered Clan Mechwarrior. The Clans are invading the Inner Sphere. Mechwarrior II was developed in-house by Activision as the successor to their original Mechwarrior. While this time there are no dynamic campaign and mercenary actions, the Clan culture is integrated into the two campaigns. Different clans have different mechs and different rules, even different weapons. You can customize your mechs in order to use less than the "par" force in order to get a higher rating. The full 3D environment wasn't pretty as this was before the 3D accelerators made their debut, but it's still better than anything that came before. Let addition of NetMech allowed users to fight each other online. When 3D cards came along, special versions were created to take advantage of 3D texturing. While not QUITE as replayable as Mechwarrior, it's nonetheless a classic.
