Deep Crimson Butterfly features several major gameplay improvements and enhancements that the original doesn't have such as: -A dynamic over the shoulder third person camera angle first used in Mask of the Lunar Eclipse. -The map and layout of the game have been updated to work better with the new viewpoint. -The graphics and character models are vastly improved, and the costumes were designed with more emphasis on the back since it is constantly in the player's view.Show more

This is the best version of the game by far. Much better graphics, ghosts are more aggressive and have more attack patterns, the difficulty is higher, the camera combat is better, and the game has several new cutscenes and two amazing new endings. It's a shame it never came to America!

Xenosaga I & II

Xenosaga I & IIXenosaga I & II is a combined remake and retelling of Xenosaga Episode 1 and 2 redesigned for the Nintendo DS. The story changes were handled by the creator of the series. The game changes large parts of the storyline in Episode 1 while following the elements established in the original game. This includes adding new characters and changing how some scenarios play out. Changes in Episode 2 were much larger as the main character perspective of the game was switched from Jr. to Shion to match up with Episode 1 and 3. Some characters are removed from the story or have their fates changed or revealed. Some dungeons are removed, edited, or replaced. It also answers some questions that the original did not as you follow a different path through the same overall story. It also changes the combat mechanics of Episode 2 to match Episode 1.

Silent HillSilent Hill is the first installment in the Silent Hill series of psychological survival horror video games. Unlike earlier survival horror games that focused on protagonists with combat training, the main character Harry Mason is an average man. The gameplay consists of combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving. The controller vibration is used to indicate Harry's heartbeat and will vibrate on low health. The player must regularly enter an inventory screen to check Harry's health, use items, and equip different weapons.
