FIFA 2001: Major League Soccer

FIFA 2001: Major League Soccer (2000)

by EA Sports, Electronic Arts
Genres:Sport
Themes:Non-fiction
Game modes:Single player, Co-operative, Multiplayer
Story:FIFA 2001 aims to immerse its fans with the most realistic football experience possible. Over 50 international teams, including England, France, Germany, Holland, Spain, and the United States have made the cut, while 17 of the planet's top leagues have been incorporated as well. New motion captured moves from Matthaus, Mendieta, Scholes, and other soccer legends support the game's realism, with animated linesman and authentic light sourcing add that much more to the presentation. Perhaps the most important features, though, are the advanced sets of artificial intelligence, in-game cinematic cutscenes, and a ton of game modes that have been specially built for tournaments from around the world.Show more

RedCard 2003
RedCard 2003Red Card 2003 is Midway's soccer title in its extreme sports series. The gameplay is comparable to NFL Blitz or NHL Hitz. Players choose from one of 32 international teams and duke it out in the most realistic of Midway's 2003 extreme sports games. This game features full size teams and plays much like a real soccer title until you dropkick one of your opponents to the ground. It doesn't go all out like most of Midway's hard-hitting games, but it definitely stands closer to Midway's extreme sports games than a traditional simulation.
