Completely unique Multiplayer experience, even with a Singleplayer Multiplayer experience with extra cutscenes. Hell everything about the game was fun, even the singleplayer story and cutscenes. And the coop is damn fun, played a lot on it with my brother on PS1

A game that took hours with a friend. I hope it will be refreshed someday. I know that the gameplay is slightly different from modern titles, but for me it's sentimental.

One of the defining games of my childhood. Not only has it really fascinating worldbuilding, it also is an early example of many features we now take for granted in games, such as customizable weapon loadouts, and a Co-Op campaign. The game mode Precinct Assault (which I played for countless hours in splitscreen) might also be the earliest form of a MOBA mode out there. Above all objective reasons, I am also just very nostalgic for what was a big part of my childhood. I was one of the few kids that was allowed to use a PC, so many of my friends came over after school. Future Cop, with its co-op campaign and genious versus mode kept us busy for months. I think this would be an incredible game to be on GOG, given that it really is a "good old game" with a bit of a cult following - and given it's currently not available for purchase anywhere.

I played only demo with my friend and only other was HoMaM 3 we can play together. It was in time, when only few people have computer at home and we found this on CD from PC game magazine, we got at some event for free. It was hard time for kids, we had no internet, and old magazines for free was your only connection to games world. I havent played full version of this game till now, because we didnt have cracked games that times, and after years, and with internet connection, there was new version of windows, and I didnt make it run properly and it crashed after first mission. So this is why I want it on GoG, properly running on new machines with very fun and unique multiplayer, weapons and maps I newer played.

I have replayed this over the years with my best mate as it just a pure class coop gaming experience, but even solo it fantastic. Basically switching between a ED-209 mech to a hover tank as needed, using high powered weapons to fight the future criminals of LAPD! What’s not to love
i've loved this game ever since i was a child, especially playing precinct assault, played that mode for hundreds of hours. amazing voice acting, especially for the time. i've wanted an opportunity to legitimately buy and own this game for years but it seemed to have been wiped from existence, but seeing this and how many votes it has garnered has given me hope. more and more people simply need to play this game, it truly is an amazing experience

Awesome game from the late 90's. The graphics were great for the time and the music was a real head banger. I don't think I ever managed to finish the game but I got really far. I would love to see it added here. :)

A unique and exciting mech game that is bundled with a definitive multiplayer mode that is a must-try for both MOBA players that want to have a look into the roots of the genre and to everyone else alike due to how timelessly fun it is. Having such game readily available, working on modern systems and even working multiplayer, its gonna make it an even better experience.

Played this game in my childhood on PS1 with godawful pirate translation (at the end of 90's beginning of 00's there were no official ru translations for many games). Later recorded the walkthrough with that translation on my youtube channel, and wrote a post full of love on my russian blog site. The explosions in this game are legendary, the epitome of PS1 era of 3D games
Those games also need your vote!
Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the PatriotsMetal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is the final canonical Metal Gear game to feature Solid Snake as the main character. The gameplay of the previous games have been kept along with some new features, such as the ability to roll on your back and also to hide in bins scattered around the environment. Most of the story and the relationship between the characters are explained through cut-scenes with a considerable length, so knowledge of the prior games is recommended to fully understand the story. The game also features a complex multiplayer mode entitled Metal Gear Online with some original missions based on the stealth aspects of the single-player games.

Twin Bee
Twin BeeTwinBee can be played by up to 2-players simultaneously. The player takes control of a cartoon-like anthropomorphic spacecraft, with Player 1 taking control of TwinBee, the titular ship, while Player 2 controls WinBee. The game controls consists of an eight-way joystick and two buttons: one for shooting enemies in the air and the other for dropping bombs to ground enemies (similarly to Xevious). The player's primary power-ups are bells that can be uncovered by shooting at the floating clouds where they're hidden. If the player continues shooting the bell after it appears, it will change into one of four other colors: the regular yellow bells only grant bonus points, the white bell will upgrade the player's gun into a twin cannon, the blue bell increases the player's speed (for up to five speed levels), the green bell will allow the player to create image copies of its ship for additional firepower, and the red bell will provide the player's ship a barrier that allows it to sustain more damage. The green and red bells cannot be combined together. Other power-ups can also be retrieved from ground enemies such as an alternate bell that gives the player's ship a three-way gun, a star which eliminates all on-screen enemies. As with other games of the same genre, getting shot by a single enemy bullet will cause the player to lose a life. However, if the bullet only strikes either side of the ship instead, the player's ship will only lose one of its arms. If the player's ship loses both arms, it will lose the ability to throw bombs and the player must wait for an ambulance to arrive. The player must navigate their ship to the ambulance to repair their arms. However, if the player's ship loses both arms for the second time, no ambulance will arrive. If two players are playing at the same time, they can align their ships vertically or horizontally together to perform more powerful attacks
