The west never got this title, but I think it would fit wonderfully into a remake of the original four games as bonus content. Since the 25th Anniversary will be in a couple of years, it might be more feasible to try too get these games re-released for the 30th anniversary. Either way, please give these games a chance. There's a dedicated fan community keeping this game alive.

i mean lets be honest this game just has the coolest lore/concept and the fact that you can acutally play the game as a real mmo making your own character. so much could of came from this if they just kept wanting to try but ig money talks..
I never got to play this title, as the US never saw a proper release, but, having played IMOQ, and recently, GU, I would love to experience this game for the first time, as well as continue to share the world of .Hack// with my viewers.

.hack// always made the online gaming world seem like such a magical place. I was excited to learn they made an online version of "The World" in this edition of .hack//Fragment. It never made it to the USA, so I would absolutely love to see this preserved and playable. I want to get in and explore!

This would probably gather a very niche crowd, but released along side I.M.O.Q. (Original 4 games) with a server for multiplayer, this would probably encourage a small spark of curiosity for folks to explore. The music, the artwork, the mysteries of "The World", but this time with you being able to create a character and meet characters throughout the franchise to party up for leveling. The character creator is a little limited in some aspects, but wide options and alternate character friendly. With the multiplayer, it plays like it normally does in offline mode/solo like in the originals, except the game doesn't pause when using the menus and you can equip skills to quick buttons, makings the "classic" combat a little more fluid. Would be fun to play the game with others, see who they create, the adventures they go on, and the memories they share while playing "The World". :D

Love to see this properly translated by someone with a mind for creative writing and some quality of life mechanics to help the game thrive for past, current and future players who might be interested in this title.
This was a neat change from the original .hack//Infection Mutation Outbreak Quarantine game. It uses the same exact game engine but with improvements. Such as the most complaint pausing the game to do anything has been fixed with the shortcut feature. It comes with a story available in the offline game mode. Your character is transferrable between offline and online. You can create up to 3 characters from any of the 6 classes. But the real appeal of this game is the online mode. You can play up to 3 players per run, it's not a true MMO but more of an instanced online party. If all 3 of you and your team mates are wearing equipment that have "Awakening Skills" you can do powerful attacks. You can create your own guild or be invited to an existing one. Players can trade items one on one or sell items through your guild shop. Players can post public messages on the BBS or private in the mailer. And if you are really fortunate you can run into event NPC's online on specific days to run challenging dungeons. And the rarest of chance in running into an online boss called The One Sin, known lore wise how Balmung got his wings. Other features sees the return of grunties which can be raised in offline mode and be used in fields in online mode. There's much to do and the grind is real. Even if the game doesn't end up on GOG's published games, there's always the fan made server (more info at dothack.org/articles/fragment) to play this game today until they day we officially see this game available for everyone.

I never played this game. But, I played the original 4 .//Hack games on the PS2.... I think that, a remake/port of those games being made along with this, a game that never came to the west. Would be an amazing thing for .//Hack fans.
Those games also need your vote!

Gundam Breaker 3: Break Edition
Gundam Breaker 3: Break EditionThe third installment of the fan-favorite Gundam Breaker series is here! Taking a unique and meta approach towards the Gundam universe, Gundam Breaker 3 continues the formula of bringing action-packed mecha-on-mecha battles that revolve around one of the core aspects of the series: the building of Gunpla model kits! The management mechanics revolve around the creative choice of building your own model kit based on their real-life counterparts. There are over 100 Gunpla kits to choose from, which gives you endless building opportunities! You can colorize parts, define material types such as plastic or chrome, add decals, scale optional loadouts, and save your kits into a list to restore whenever you want to fight with that model. Aside from customizing the entire body, you get a shield, melee weapon, and ranged weapon slot for your primary arsenal, 4 Ex-Actions for explosive attacks, and 8 slots for your optional loadouts which can include missile pods, rail cannons, beam launchers, beam sabers, axes, and all sorts of other offensive and defensive mechanisms. This is one of the most freeform combat experiences ever made in 3rd person arena combat. Two escorts join you in most of the battles, performing healing and attack actions while also rescuing you from being knocked out. You can also instruct them to do certain actions. A new "Bounty Hunter Mode" has been added to the series. In this mode, players will be able to battle against Gunpla that have been uploaded by other players, and the victor will walk away with in-game currency and all parts that have been broken off of enemy kits. The Break Edition includes all the DLC of the normal edition.

Elden Ring
Elden RingElden Ring is an action RPG developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, released in February 2022. Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, with world-building contributions from novelist George R. R. Martin, the game features an expansive open world called the Lands Between. Players assume the role of a customisable character known as the Tarnished, who must explore this world, battle formidable enemies, and seek to restore the Elden Ring to become the Elden Lord. The game builds on the challenging gameplay mechanics familiar from the Dark Souls series but introduces a more open-ended structure with vast exploration, dynamic weather, and a day-night cycle. It offers deep lore, complex characters, and an interconnected world filled with secrets, dungeons, and powerful bosses.

Super Robot Taisen JSuper Robot Taisen J
Super Robot Taisen JThe last installment of the Super Robot Wars series for the Game Boy Advance. Notable for its battle animations, which are arguably on the level of the Playstation 2 versions of the series. This game is notable for being the only anime-based SRW to not feature the Getter Robo franchise, the first of only two anime-based games to not feature series from Gundam's Universal Century timelime, and the first to include a battle-armor series (which technically isn't robot anime).

Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation
Super Robot Taisen: Original GenerationIt is two hundred years after the beginning of the "Space Era", a time period when civilization began expanding into space. However, by the start of the 21st century, two meteors struck and destroyed much of the Earth, sending humanity into chaos. By year 179 of the Space Era, secret technology, dubbed Extra-Over Technology, or EOT, was discovered by the Earth Federal Government within a third meteor that had hit Earth at the Marquesas Islands in the South Pacific. Dr. Bian Zoldark, while investigating the meteor, also found out that the creators of the Extra-Over Technology were heading to Earth to reclaim it. In order to defend earth, the government starts to develop a group of humanoid mecha, known as Personal Troopers. The alien race that created Extra-Over Technology, called the Aerogaters by the Earth Federal Government, initially attacks an Earth ship sent out to investigate their presence in the far reaches of the solar system. This initial skirmish ends in a defeat for the Aerogaters, prompting them to sue for negotiations with the Earth Federation Army. Talks are arranged to take place at a secret facility in Antarctica, but the talks are targeted by a rogue faction called the Divine Crusaders. The Divine Crusaders destroys the Aerogater delegation, then turn on the Federation forces. Bian Zoldark, revealing himself to be the leader of the Divine Crusaders, announces the existence of the Aerogaters to the world and rebel against the Earth Government. As Earth spins into civil war, a new Aerogater force is on the move, seeking to reclaim their lost technology...

Mega Man Legends 3 Project
Mega Man Legends 3 ProjectMega Man Legends 3, known as Rockman DASH 3 in Japan, was a video game set to be the sequel to Mega Man Legends 2 and the fourth game in the Mega Man Legends series. It was announced for the Nintendo 3DS on September 29, 2010, during a Nintendo press conference for the 3DS. The game was to be directed by Masakuza Eguchi, with Tatsuya Kitabayashi acting as producer. Reo Uratani composed the game's music. Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version, known (roughly) as "Rockman DASH 3: The Prologue! Showing you the Game's Underbelly Version" in Japan, was an early version of the game that would be available for download in the Nintendo 3DS's eShop. The prototype would have feature playable segments as Barrett and ten missions. It was originally planned to be available upon the launch of the 3DS eShop on June 6, but it was delayed to be improved. Initially, it was said by Capcom that if the Mega Man Legends 3 Prototype Version does not do well upon its release in the eShop, Mega Man Legends 3 may be cancelled, but the Prototype Version was cancelled along with the main game. On July 18, 2011, a message was posted in the Devroom announcing the discontinuation of the project. The reason for the cancellation was that "it was not felt that the Mega Man Legends 3 project met the required criteria". No further explanation was given, and the Japanese Devroom was closed on August 19.
