The co-op of Lost Planet 2 was truly one of a kind, few other games truly scratch that itch of tearing through pirates, NEVEC and Akrid alike with three buddies. For Capcom to have essentially left it to rot for years without ever fixing any of the issues playing on PC came with (namely Games for Windows Live) is a tragedy. Hopefully some day I'll be able to play the game again on PC with some buddies, new and old.

Such a damn good game, both the campaign and multiplayer are excellent and despite their jank they help up well before it got ripped from the steam store. Shame they killed the franchise with 3.

Why this game? Imagine 3 friends and you sweep through a Jungle to harass some poor pirates and Akrid, then ride mechs to kick a towering Akrid Boss *sses. All of that aside, there's a f*king railway cannon for you to shoot the Dune worm to kingdom comes. Again, why? you ask, really? Why the hell not???

I used to play the demo over and over again on my PS3 back when it initially came out. When I finally got a PC and bought the game on that, it was amazing! The movement, the sound effects, the art direction; all resonated with me personally because it was all reminiscent of the media I grew up with and enjoyed (Lost Planet 1 also being one of the first games I played on the XBOX 360) Even now I am still playing and going for full completion HOWEVER, I know many others can not. The issue of the game not running if your cpu has too many cores, the issue of Games for Windows Live STILL being a requirement in current year (insanity) but worst of all, CAPCOM straight up delisting Lost Planet 2 from the STEAM store for purchase... All roadblocks keeping many people from enjoying an absolute gem of a game that had multiplayer engagement in-mind from the start . It is my dream to see this game's online services populated again in both the campaign and multiplayer as well as making unobtainable content obtainable once again!
This game is a masterpiece a good long story with exciting gameplay the kind that makes u wanna go back and play that one mission again. Also they have a really fun lvling system with guns and equipment plus 4 player coop from back in the day is much better than it is now also as an fyi for people wanting to play lost planet two its on steam but doesnt like direct x and how many cores u run on so theres a video you can look up to change ur specs to work but it would be awesome if gog could fix it with their launcher
I got a used PS3 physical disc because the PC version was delisted but the disc i have is not working even though there's no scratches on the disc. Would be nice to see a GOG PC version since it still has Games For Windows Live and it has problems running on modern computers with more than 6 cores.
Lost Planet 2 was a very overlooked game back in the day and is a hidden gem to this day. It had some of the most fun co-op for it's time, and had a competitive mode for people looking to test their skill against others. The setting of the game was diverse, with each story episode offering new characters, locations and enemies. Sometimes the game felt like Monster Hunter when you're battling it out with giant insectoid aliens, and other missions had you creeping through dilapidated slums fighting human militia. Capcom has let this game and the series collect dust for years, it deserves a second chance.
Great mutiplayer, fine singleplayer I don't care if it is "too Japanese" or whatever lame excuse they gave for it not selling as well as they wanted. Its a fun time
Well there's a lot of things that make lost planet 2 special but one thing I admire about it its almost like monster hunter in the future has lots of weapons that you can unlock and even character customization, multiplayer pvp and pve these are its most important aspects of the game cause that's where I fell in love with the game, it was the interaction of the player community and the experiences that we all shared, that and the gameplay was addicting. the steam release of lost planet 2 was missing its dlc releases in my opinion are things that should have been included in the steam release but never were, plus it was missing exclusive cheat code costumes you could get on console and those were amazing and i miss them, a lot, easily a 7 out of 10 for me and even though that seems like a lower score for somebody who wants to see this game freed from GAMES FOR WINDOWS LIVE it is a game that ill never forget and would buy it on release if I knew it would come back to a platform that has earned my respect

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesNOTE: This is the original 4-Player Arcade release, not the NES Title. The player chooses from one of the four Ninja Turtles: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael. After Shredder kidnaps the Turtles' friend April O'Neil and their mentor Splinter, they must give chase, save their comrades, and defeat the evil Shredder. The player chooses from one of the four Ninja Turtles: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael. Depending on the version of the game, the characters are either, chosen at the start of the game or assigned by control panel. After Shredder kidnaps the Turtles' friend April O'Neil and their mentor Splinter, they must give chase, save their comrades, and defeat the evil Shredder. Up to four players (two in some versions) can take control of any of the Turtles. Donatello has slower attacks but a longer range, Michelangelo and Raphael have faster attacks but a shorter range, and Leonardo is a well-rounded Turtle with average range and speed. The eight-way joystick controls the movements of the Turtle, the jump button makes them jump and the attack button makes them hit in front of them using their weapon. In addition to this, some combinations are possible. The Turtles can throw Foot soldiers overhead, and by pressing the jump and attack buttons, a special attack is performed. Raphael rolls along the ground and finishes with a kick, while the other Turtles do a sweeping jump attack with their weapons. Turtles can also spring off the wall in certain areas. Enemies can be defeated more quickly by slamming them into walls or solid objects. Many objects such as traffic cones, parking meters, fire hydrants and exploding oil drums can be hit or damaged with attacks in order to help defeat nearby enemies. In the attract mode, the game showed the first part of the cartoon opening, along with a portion of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme song. Most of the enemies the Turtles face are the Foot Soldiers, all color-coded to indicate their attack patterns and weapon of choices. Some enemies, such as the standard purple-clad Foot Soldiers and Roadkill Rodney robots, have the ability to restrain the Turtles' mobility and drain their health, leaving the player open to attack for other enemies. The bosses in the game include Rocksteady and Bebop (individually at first in that order, and later the two of them together), Baxter Stockman, Granitor, General Traag, Krang, and Shredder himself.

MediEvil: Resurrection
MediEvil: ResurrectionMediEvil: Resurrection is a 2005 action-adventure game for the PlayStation Portable and is the third installment in the MediEvil video-game series. It is a reimagining of the first installment in the series, MediEvil, with many alterations to the original structure and content, such as the addition of the "Anubis Stone" sub-plot which never appeared in the original. Many things such as level design and characters were changed drastically, and some levels from the original were removed altogether. New levels and characters were introduced, the cutscenes are completely original, and the game was given a much more comical, cartoon-like style as opposed to the Gothic horror-comedy of the original. The soundtrack is completely orchestrated, and half of the themes from the original were removed while new themes were created to fit with the new levels. Unlike the original, there is no alternate ending; Dan still goes to the Hall of Heroes regardless of whether he collects all of the chalices. The game also features a variety of voice talent, including Tom Baker as the narrator and the Grim Reaper.
