What a fantastic game this is. There are not many RPGs that offer tile based movement with turn-based tactical combat. I think it has worked its way up to my top three. The environments are really something special. Will need to incorporate the Acid Cave patch that fixes a bunch of stuff.
Weirdly enough, it was the first M&M game I've ever played, right after I finished Legend of Grimrock. I was enchanted by the visuals, the music, and completely immersed in the cozy fantasy setting. The title describes it best, "Legacy" - it's an old school RPG, a turn based open world dungeon crawler. Having came from the world of Dungeon Master and Eye of The Beholder I felt immediately at home and shortly after playing this game, I bought the entire series here. So for me, the last entry in the saga was the entry point to the entirety of it. Please, GOG, it really pains that this game isn't here. The days of UPlay are long gone, now your store is the safe haven for titles like this one. All the best!
I played the flipping heck out of this game! Hundreds of hours! Although not really technically relatable to previous MM series... MM X Legacy is both a continuation and a homage to the earlier entries in the MM RPG series, particularly the grid-based, first-person entries like MM III–V (the "World of Xeen" era). Here's how it relates (and doesn't) to previous games: 1. It returns to the turn-based, grid-based exploration and combat found in the classic entries (I–V), rather than the more open-world, real-time hybrid style of VI–VIII. 2. You control a party of four characters, each with customizable classes, stats, and skills — very much in the spirit of the older games. 3. Set in Ashan, the world introduced in Heroes of Might and Magic V (after Ubisoft acquired the franchise), it uses factions and mythology consistent with the Ubisoft era games which is kinda lame and little bland. 4. References to previous elements like the Blades of Order, elemental magic, and ancient ruins echo classic Might and Magic themes. The doesn't part: 1. Earlier games (I–IX) are set in the sci-fi/fantasy fusion worlds of VARN, XEEN, and Enroth. M&M X is set in Ashan, which lacks the same blend of science fiction and leans heavily on fantasy tropes, which is ok but not true to the lore imho. 2. Some players found Legacy’s systems (like skills, class promotions, and spell variety) less deep than those in M&M VI–VIII. Longtime fans may miss the Ancients/Kreegan mythos, which is literally absent from Ashan. Summary: Might & Magic X: Legacy is relatable to older M&M games in gameplay and feel, especially to fans of the early turn-based, dungeon-crawling titles. However, it's less connected in story and universe due to the shift to Ubisoft’s Ashan setting. It's essentially a spiritual successor to the early games, but not directly in narrative. This would be a great addition to already astonishing collection on GoG, and my library... Do not buy it on steam, its buggy.

Kingdom Under Fire: A War of Heroes
Kingdom Under Fire: A War of HeroesKingdom Under Fire included single-player and multiplayer online modes through Phantagram's "Wargate" server. The game is the first release in the Kingdom Under Fire series which later received critical acclaim through the Xbox release Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders, a game which, like others in the series, incorporated both role-playing and real-time strategy elements. A "Gold Patch" was released for Kingdom Under Fire which introduced a map editor, extra missions, and in-game save option; the version was also re-released as Kingdom Under Fire Gold. Two factions, light and dark, are playable in the game, with each side having units fulfilling the typical roles of warrior, archer, flying unit and wizards – as well as more powerful individual hero characters. The campaigns are split into 13 missions of which 10 are battles and the other three being a dungeon crawl for a hero character. Skirmish and multiplayer modes were also supported, with online games with human opponents organized via the Wargate.Net server.

Marble Madness
Marble MadnessMarble Madness is an isometric platform game in which the player manipulates an onscreen marble from a third-person perspective. The player controls the marble's movements with a trackball, though most home versions use game controllers with directional pads. The aim of the game is for the player to complete six maze-like, isometric race courses before a set amount of time expires. When a player completes a race, the remaining time is added to the next race's allotted time. The game also allows two players to compete against each other. Courses are populated with various objects and enemies designed to obstruct the player. As the game progresses, the courses become increasingly difficult and introduce more enemies and obstacles. Each course has a distinct visual theme. For example, the first race, titled "Practice", is a simple course that is much shorter than the others, while the fifth race, named "Silly", features polka-dot patterns and is oriented in a direction opposite from the other courses
