When I bought my first PC in 1998, when I was 15 years old for all the confirmation money I had gotten, I got two games with it; this and Starcraft. I loved the soundtrack, the graphics and the speed. I would love to play the game again. There used to be a Playstation 1 port on Steam, but it's gone, but that one was bad compared to PC version.

Można zmieniać kolory aut i znacznika w wyścigu. Brak tuningu (osiągów i wizualnego), a mimo to świetnie się przy tym bawiłem i bawię nadal, choć grę przeszedłem kilka razy. Grafika się zesstarzała, nowi mogą się w tym nie odnaleźć.
The graphics (best graphics for its time!), the music, the cars, the steering... But most of all the vibe and ambience of this game was second to none. It felt like Blade Runner but in a racing game. Such a shame that on Steam you could only get the PS1 version which needless to say was inferior to the awesome PC version. For this game, if it was restored to its original level I would easily and without hesitation pay 50-60 euros. So go ahead GOG, you would add a fantastic game to your racing games library and make a lot of people happy.

Motorhead for PC is a true nostalgic gem that perfectly captures the spirit of '90s gaming. The game’s vibrant 3D graphics were groundbreaking for its time, offering detailed textures, dynamic lighting, and a sense of depth that made each race feel fast and immersive. What really made Motorhead unforgettable, though, was its killer soundtrack and ambience. The game’s tracks, set in urban landscapes, deserts, and coastal regions, had a distinctly futuristic feel, with towering structures, glowing lights, and innovative details like passing trains and zeppelins that added to the immersive experience. The dynamic lighting and reflections were ahead of their time, enhancing the sense of speed and creating a vibrant, almost otherworldly environment. Paired with a techno and trance soundtrack, Motorhead captured the essence of a fast-paced, futuristic world where racing wasn't just about competition, it was about experiencing a thrilling, futuristic dream. The game remains a nostalgic favorite for many, transporting players back to a time when gaming was full of fresh, exciting experiences.
They used to have the demo for this game on one of the computers back when I was in Kindergarten, which I remember playing a lot back then. I remembered those fond memories years later but it took me ages to figure out what the game was even called. Sad to see that it's so difficult to find these days, I'd love to see it made available again.

Moje pierwsze wyścigi na pierwszym własnym komputerze. Dodatkowo z tą grą zaczął się mój kontakt z czasopismem CD-Action. Fajnie by było mieć tę produkcję na swojej półce na gog'u

California Games II
California Games IIYo Dudes! We're Back... With five new events straight from the land of sand, surf, sunshine, and, or course, some pretty great-looking scenery, too... If you know what we mean. Start out blowing by some stand-ups as you carve a wave on your Bodyboard. It takes lotsa practice to master a barrel roll off the lip. But when you get it down, Wooa! Watch out dudes, it's all over! Dodge a few grommets on the way in to max your score. Once you get your feet wet, be prepared to freeze 'em off as you take on the challenge of Snowboarding. Take the scenic route as you pilot a chopper to the top of the mountain. Parachute down, but watch your height... That 'chute needs time to open, you know! It takes real heavy thrashing to get down in one piece, let alone winning time. On the way down pick up a little bonus time by showing the crowd your stuff in the Snow Bowl. Get majorly amped with Jet Surfing, just about the hottest thing to hit California since sunshine. Snag one of four surf jets and rocket onto the course. Race around the buoys and go for speed, or try a few ramps on for size. Beat the clock or your friends: there's no speed limit on these waters, pal! If you really want to take off, try Hang Gliding. Search for thermals cruising above the coastline. Once you get the hang of it, you can try a few radical stunts just for the heck of it... But blow the landing, and you'll be eating a California cliff burger. Pass the salt, dweeb. Once you've mastered the others, you're ready for the toughest challenge of all... outlaw Skateboarding down the meanest aqueduct on The Coast. Just when you think you've caught the rhythm of the halfpipe, bam!... Everything goes black, and you're corkscrewing through this killer fullpipe. Survive that and it's back into the sunshine in front of the crowd. Oh, by the way, did we forget to mention the concrete wall? Yow! Sorry, dude... to air is human.

Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity
Sonic Riders: Zero GravitySonic Riders: Zero Gravity is a hoverboard racing video game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega for the PlayStation 2 and Wii. It is the fifth racing game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, and the second entry the Sonic Riders trilogy. A port for the Xbox 360 was cancelled during development, while a sequel, Sonic Free Riders, was released exclusively for that system in 2010. Gameplay in Zero Gravity is largely similar to its predecessor, with characters racing on different types of hovercraft called "Extreme Gear". In addition to the mechanics from the previous game, Zero Gravity adds a new gameplay system based around gravity that replaces the predecessor's "fuel" system. During the race, performing tricks and other actions will increase a character's Gravity Points, or GP. If players have accrued enough GP by the time they enter certain areas of the track, they will enter a Zero-Gravity Zone, where they can perform one of two maneuvers. A Gravity Dive will create a small black hole that points gravity forward down the track, giving the player a powerful free-fall boost that is further augmented by striking objects in the vicinity that the hole displaces, such as cars or signs. Alternatively, Gravity Control will alter the gravity of the course, allowing players to reach otherwise-inaccessible areas and shortcuts. Players can also use Gravity Drift to more easily maneuver around sharp corners.

Hi-Octane
Hi-OctaneHi-Octane is a racing/vehicular combat video game released in 1995 for the PC, PlayStation and Sega Saturn developed by Bullfrog and based upon their earlier Magic Carpet game code. It is notable amongst racing games for its wide and open tracks, and the resulting freedom offered to the player, and also for its excessive speed. It suffered in the marketplace due to thematic similarities with the better received Wipeout by Psygnosis and the generality of its graphics engine made for a very short depth of view compared to contemporary racing games. Hi-Octane is rumored to begin life as something several Bullfrog programmers coded in free time, and then decided to improve the game and market it under the auspices of Electronic Arts. Another version of the legend is: EA set Bullfrog under pressure to release Dungeon Keeper or Magic Carpet 2 - but they weren't able to. So they released Hi-Octane, a quickly done game. In a Gamasutra article it was mentioned that "PC and Saturn racing game Hi-Octane, was developed in just eight weeks using the Magic Carpet engine, as a way to “fill a quarter that didn't have enough revenue”.
