It's 2025 and I still play this game on my PC. The mod community that has helped keep this game alive is amazing! I've contributed countless hours to making cars for myself and others, racing in leagues, and uploading videos of gameplay to YouTube since I started playing it in 2006. This is an amazing piece of my gaming life.
still to this day the best nascar game ever made, and it's still played by thousands of people. i've ran my last race on this game i think, but others should be able to see why people like me played this game for 15+ years!
Great AI. Great physics. Great graphics. Helpful information everywhere. Easy to mod and to play any era of the sport. Should be in the Hall of Fame of games.
A game that needs to be archived. It is the quintessential nascar racing simulator with unlimited modability and a vibrant community of supporters. This game is a must archive and I will look forward to its appearance in Gog.

The greatest representation of NASCAR in gaming history. Infinitely moddable, infinitely customizable. This game set the stage for what eventually became the iracing professional simulator, but it's still accessible enough for arcade play. The perfect balance of everything you want in a stock car racing game.

22 years and this title still holds up remarkably well. Nothing released since has measured up to the quality of this game, and when you factor in the modding scene, it makes for a title that goes from great to irreplaceable. The core driving model is excellent, and the customizable AI make for solid opponents, which leads to compelling racing. I still play this when I can, and my only real fear is not that the game will ever be forgotten, but that it one day be rendered unplayable on a modern system. There is only so much a community of players can do to keep a game alive, so having it be preserved officially would be phenomenal. This is hardly the only game I would love to preserve, but it is one on my personal favorites. It has become a comfort game, something I know so well that I do not have to think about what to do; I can just hit the track and drive. I know that I will never forget this seminal title, and I would like others to be able to officially experience this game as well.

The best racing game there is, even 22 years after release. Physics are superbly realistic and the AI is challenging too. All the cars have just the right amount of heft and everything just feels right. I don't know how many hours I've ploughed into this game over the years, but was still played up until last year, when I made a new PC. As soon as I get a new DVD drive for it, I'll be back to it. (I know there's a noCD.exe file around, but I'm old school). I wish that Codemasters/EA could make a game like this. NR 2003 is still the undefeated daddy and even after 22 years, no racing game has surpassed it. It would be great to get it on GOG so that it comes with all the support and little updates and tweaks. It would save quite a bit of faffing around. Superb game that stands the test of time immaculately. It's a stone-cold classic.
This game is so significant for what it did to help advance the genre of Sim Racing from a niche curiosity into the massive industry we know today. It is well loved by racers all over the world, and giving it a once-over to support modern racing peripherals would be massive.
Me and my best friend used to take turns playing this game on an old crappy Win7 laptop. We had so much fun with this game!! We would purposely cause wrecks just to see every vehicle fly up. It's still funny to this day. So many good memories.
It's the last great NASCAR game by Papyrus who is now iRacing. I hope people have access to this game forever because it is a classic. There are so many mods for this game it's almost unbelievable. My story began with NASCAR Racing 1994 so NR2003 was the pinnacle of the time. NR2003 is still going strong in 2025. I miss the days though, when you could buy a physical box that you could hardly wait to get home and open. We still have a great time on iRacing but the competition is intense and second to none. During the plandemic, I raced with many, many real world drivers on iRacing. Just two weeks ago we had a Podium finish on January 18, 2025, in the Daytona 24 hour race and it was a blast in the Ford Mustang GT3 with Baker Racing Team 47 and our Sponsor, Glory to God. What a great time to be alive.

Shenmue
Shenmue"He shall appear from a far Eastern land across the sea. A young man who has yet to know his potential. This potential is a power that can either destroy him, or realize his will. His courage shall determine his fate. The path he must traverse, fraught with adversity, I await whilst praying. For this destiny predetermined since ancient times... A pitch, black night unfolds with the morning star as its only light. And thus the saga, begins..." This first chapter of Shenmue kicks off Yu Suzuki's cinematic Dreamcast tour-de-force, an exploration-heavy adventure that has players immerse themselves in Yokosuka, Japan. Players slip into the role of a young martial artist named Ryo Hazuki, who is on the trail of his father's killer. On the way, players must talk with hundreds of characters, engage in martial arts battles, and marvel at the realistic depiction of the Japanese coastal town.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
