Story:Sonic 3D Blast is a 1996 platform video game developed by Traveller's Tales and Sonic Team, and published by Sega for the Genesis, Saturn, and Windows. Part of the Sonic the Hedgehog series, the game abandons previous Sonic games' side-scrolling style in favor of isometric gameplay, making use of some pre-rendered 3D models converted into sprites. The game features creatures known as Flickies, which first appeared in the 1984 arcade game Flicky. Controlling only Sonic himself, the player's goal is to collect Flickies and carry them to safety, periodically sparring with the series antagonist Dr. Robotnik, who is imprisoning them within robots.Show more

I greatly enjoy this game to the point where I do a complete playthrough on original hardware semi-annually. It's a nice comfort game to me and I end up playing it in the now delisted Genesis collection on Steam when I get bored. It is important to note that there are three distinct versions of this game: Genesis/Mega Drive, Saturn, and Windows 95. The Saturn and Windows 95 versions have different music, better graphics, and completely different special stages than the Genesis Version. It would be nice for the Windows 95 version to release here because GOG is mostly about PC games, this version never gets rereleased, and it wouldn't require a Genesis or Saturn emulator to run.
I grew up with the Sega Genesis version. I ended up owning it a few times through several Sega compilation games. This was among the first 3D Sonic games. They were inspired by Rare doing Donkey Kong Country series. In terms of an 2D platformer with some 3D aspects. Personally you are better off with Vectorman series. I will say the music is decent. The bonus stages are alright just lacking something. You get some rather interesting boss fights with Dr. Robotnik. Sonic must rescue flickies that are small birds trapped inside robots. This is sorta like a more ambitious 3D Flicky game. If you played Flicky you know what I'm talking about. Some levels are frustrating to get through. Considering this was the last Sonic game on Sega Genesis. I actually felt it ended things on a good note. This game often gets overlooked than anything else.

Sonic must also collect the blades of King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table and Excalibur itself if he is to restore King Arthur's sanity and return him to a benevolent ruler.

Sonic Unleashed
Sonic UnleashedGameplay in Sonic Unleashed focuses on two modes of platforming play: fast-paced levels that take place during daytime, showcasing Sonic's trademark speed as seen in previous games in the series, and slower, night-time levels, during which Sonic's Werehog form emerges, and gameplay switches to an action-based, brawler style of play, in which Sonic battles Gaia enemies

Jet Set Radio Future
Jet Set Radio FutureJet Set Radio Future is a video game developed by Smilebit and is the sequel to Jet Set Radio. Similar to the original, it depicts a future Tokyo where freedom of expression is outlawed. The user plays a character in the GG's, a gang of in-line skating graffiti artists who skate around Tokyo covering up rival gangs' graffiti, knocking over Rokkaku police, and dancing to the electric soundtrack. The game uses a cel-shaded style of animation, and has been widely acclaimed for its unique music style, detailed art, and gameplay. Though the game is set in the future, its style and content incorporates many aspects of 1980's old school hip hop culture, as well as 1990's J-pop culture.

Jersey Devil
Jersey DevilJersey Devil, as the title implies, is loosely based upon the legendary New Jersey beast of the same name. Instead of the horrific beast the legend describes, the protagonist of the title is cute purple creature with long-ears and small wings. Dr. Knarf -- the villain of the piece -- has created a legion of mutated vegetables to do his evil bidding, and it falls to Jersey Devil to stop the maniacal scientist. To do this, the purple protagonist must venture through a series of 3D platform stages spread across themed environments such as a museum, cemetery, forest, and even a haunted house. Endowed with an ample set of abilities, Jersey Devil must jump, glide, and tail whip his way through the hordes of vegetables and undead minions, the latter comprising such mainstays as zombies, bats, and spiders.

Crash Twinsanity
Crash TwinsanityCrash Twinsanity is the fifth mainline series game of the Crash Bandicoot series where Crash and the villain Cortex are forced into partnership. Each character occupies the same screen but they run along on different planes. Crash's gameplay is mostly the same as before, he can still do his trademark spin attack, double jump and body slam moves. The originality comes in his duo with Dr. Cortex, as he can throw him to places he can't reach himself or use him as a hammer to slap enemies. The consistent conflict between both heroes causes many funny situations.
