This game was so freakin' difficult to play as a kid but I slowly learned how to handle it after weeks of playing it. Building up a business in this game takes so much careful effort and it was so fun to play. The little FMV videos were always a treat and the sense of build-up and accomplishment was very high. I wish I could share this game with the world as it is almost impossible to get running properly via emulation.

I remember sabotaging other corporations and defending myself just to survive! What a fun game! Don't rush it, save your game and load it up again and again. Learn and make the trade!
I have a VM dedicated to this game, I would give anything to see this playable on my machine today!

Farland Story consists entirely of battles (save cut scenes and the ability to shop if you are near a town after a battle). During battles, you move Arc and his party over the terrain, and attack when there are enemies in range. The party consists of different classes - knights attack with swords, archers specialize in long-ranged combat, priestesses heal, etc. Every attack leads to a counter-attack, from the enemy's side as well as from yours.
