I played this alot as kid as it was one of the few games I had. I never understood why all the other classic pc star wars games got released on steam and gog but this game never got a digital re-release. It would be awesome if you guys could get it and release it with fixes and modern support.
Let me be clear, this is by far not a great game. It is entertaining and was an interesting entry. I never beat it myself but I do own the CD and have played it. It's one of the better games in the franchise.
I have really fond memories of this game. In terms of preservation, this is a prime example of a game that should be preserved. I have a physical copy of the game, but my laptop doesnt have a disk drive, my desktop doesnt have a disc drive, I had to borrow a external disc drive from work to be able to play this game, it is cheap and easy to get online, but you have to have a peripheral disc drive to install it, and then hope microsoft doesnt release an update that breaks the game. I would love to add this to my library
It may have been a buggy mess, but it was a fun buggy mess.
For someone that played this as a kid, I have some fond memories of it.
This game should be available on GOG for people.
This was the first PC game I ever bought and I was never able to play it because my PC at the time failed to run it lol. I would love the chance to finally jump into it over a decade later!
This game paved the way for Empire at War which is one of the best SW games made and has a huge modding community. I used to play this game a bunch as a kid would love to see it brought to modern systems.

There are not many starwars RTS games (like 3 or 4 i think?) so this needs to come back and be added to the list of starwars game sin the store. You cant get this game anywhere else and GoG are the only hope of bringing it back.

Devil May Cry 4: Collector's EditionThe player plays as Nero throughout most of the game. He is equipped with the Red Queen sword, Blue Rose revolver, and the powers of his Devil Bringer. The Red Queen features an Exceed Gauge that can be charged up, allowing for subsequent attacks that are more powerful than regular slashes, until the gauge empties. Nero also has the powers of his Devil Bringer, and can use it to pull himself towards enemies or vice versa. The Devil Bringer may also be used for context-sensitive throw attacks, leading to high damage and various effects depending on the enemy. Nero's Devil Bringer also gains new abilities during the course of the game, such as being able to detect secret missions or caches of Red Orbs. Command & Conquer: Red Alert - RetaliationOn August 28, 1998, Westwood Studios released Red Alert Retaliation for the PlayStation, a compilation of the two PC expansion packs, including the secret Ant Missions. It is almost identical to the PlayStation port of the original Red Alert, except it introduced some new units like Tesla Tank, Shock Trooper, Chrono Tank and Mechanic, and included 105 skirmish maps. Gameplay also included an in-game sidebar code called Soylent Green Mode. In this mode all ore fields turn to people/civilians, and ore trucks harvest them with grisly sound effects.
It also included 19 exclusive briefing FMV (full-motion video) clips that were not in any of the PC expansion packs, which had none. All of the videos are shown when the player either starts playing through the operational theatre from the beginning or when all the missions of the theatre are accomplished. In other cases, the briefing text is shown. The FMVs include a general for each side, telling the player the mission objectives; The Allied General Carville later appears in Red Alert 2 while Soviet General Topolov has made no further appearances in the Red Alert series.Warfare
