Story:The Lost World: Jurassic Park is a light gun arcade game from Sega. It was released in 1997, and is based on the film of the same name. It is also a sequel to Sega's 1994 Jurassic Park arcade game. The game features five levels based on environments from the film, including a laboratory and a workers' village. Four of the levels feature a boss battle that must be won to advance the game. Boss enemies include Tyrannosaurus, Deinosuchus and Carnotaurus. Velociraptors are also featured as enemies throughout the game. Pachycephalosaurus, Compsognathus and venom-spitting Dilophosaurus are also encountered throughout the game. At times, the game presents the player with an opportunity to rescue a human who is being attacked by one or multiple dinosaurs. Saving the human results in the human rewarding the player with either a temporary weapon upgrade or additional health.Show more

One of the best arcade games ever made and still a blast today. The SuperModel3 emulator is capable of playing this and there are light gun equivalents compatible with it to replicate the intended experience. It would be great if GOG could even get the license to sell a digital ROM and let users to do with that as they wish.

I remember playing this one with my dad in one of game saloons. It was rare, I've seen it only in 1 or 2 of them but geez, this machine was huge! Like off-road car cabin. Speaking of the game it was great too, like The House of the Dead in Jurassic Park setting and back then I absolutely loved rail sh**ters and dinosaurs so this mix was perfect for me. I remember that as a child I wanted to earn enough money to buy such machine for my own and play it whole days. :P Well, it would be much more space and money savy to just let GOG bring it to the store and sell digital copy in reasonable price. I don't have much hopes for that but I won't stop dreaming!

Whenever I'm at an arcade, I look for this game. It's one of my favorites. I've only managed to beat it once, and I had to use both my and my brother's arcade card to replenish my lives.
I remember back in the day, this was the one game i always b-lined it for in my local arcade. Game was a blast literally, many memories from a simpler time, where entertainment was innovative

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the PatriotsMetal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is the final canonical Metal Gear game to feature Solid Snake as the main character. The gameplay of the previous games have been kept along with some new features, such as the ability to roll on your back and also to hide in bins scattered around the environment. Most of the story and the relationship between the characters are explained through cut-scenes with a considerable length, so knowledge of the prior games is recommended to fully understand the story. The game also features a complex multiplayer mode entitled Metal Gear Online with some original missions based on the stealth aspects of the single-player games.
