This was one of the very first PC games I ever played when I was a kid. I remember being overwhelmed with controls at first but excited by everything you could do in the game. The map is huge and covers like 10 miles of Los Angeles. I'd love to be able to roam around that world again.

I first played this when I was 10 (shortly after it was released) and it was the first open world game I'd ever played and for the time it was beyond amazing. You can see how Bethesda's open world games started with this title and I'd love to play it again, especially on a DRM-free platform like GOG.

I had this game back on that trusty ol 386 IBM. Had no idea what I was doing every once in awhile I would run into Kyle Reese. Mostly I just played the Terminator and raised mayhem after getting into the military base. I vaguely remember the cars being Automatic or Manual, and shifting gears was a chore. The kill cams when you would off people was amusing. The game was beyond it's time, too technical for the technology it was built with... yet I loved it.

The Outfit
The OutfitThe Outfit is a World War II game that, unlike many other games in the genre, focuses almost entirely on destruction. While you will usually need to take a tactical approach to gameplay when on foot, you will earn points called "Field Units" that can be used to buy equipment like tanks and gun turrets to destroy Axis soldiers. You can simply buy equipment by using the Y button on your controller in conjunction with the left thumbstick button to select an item to buy. As such, the game developers call The Outfit "destruction on demand". The equipment you buy with Field Units will initially be occupied by AI-controlled soldiers, but you can replace whoever is using the equipment so that you can have some fun blowing stuff up. Sporting a fully destructible environment, almost everything in The Outfit can be blown up. You can play as one of three characters. Tommy Mac can take lots of damage before dying, and comes equipped with a flamethrower and machine gun, but equipment will cost him more Field Units than other characters. Deuce Williams comes equipped with a rocket launcher and pistol, and doesn't need as much Field Units to buy stuff as Tommy does, but he isn't nearly as strong as Tommy. JD Tyler is the most accurate of the three, sporting a sniper rifle and shotgun, but unfortunately he will die with one shot, so he must take an extremely tactical approach to gameplay.

Dead Rising 2: Case West
Dead Rising 2: Case WestThe game features Frank West, the main character from the first Dead Rising game, and serves as the canon Overtime Mode of Dead Rising 2, with Frank teaming up with Chuck to further investigate the link between Phenotrans and the Fortune City zombie outbreak, and find proof that clears Chuck of any wrongdoing. The story follows on from Ending A of the main game, with Frank rescuing Chuck from the elevator. Frank was going to meet Rebecca Chang to investigate a Phenotrans facility west of Fortune City, but learns from Chuck that she was killed by Phenotrans mole Sullivan. Although initially suspicious of Chuck because of the media reports blaming him for the Fortune City outbreak, Frank lets the motocross star come with him to find proof that Phenotrans was behind the outbreak. Case West includes cooperative play for two players, with each taking control of one of the two characters. The episode features new challenges, enemies, items, combo weapons. The photography element returns from the first Dead Rising; the characters use this to generate proof of Phenotrans' part in the zombie outbreaks.
