Ive been following this series for over 20 years, and it holds a special place in my heart, as ive found awesome people to share in my love for this series. Without TXR i wouldnt have the great network of friends i have today, atleast in the same capacity.

This is the new game that's currently in Early Access on Steam. But even in early access it's one of the most fun racing games I've played in some time. I want it on GOG as well to spread this game beyond those who don't vibe with Steam's own platform as much.

GoG definitely needs a racing game with licensed vehicles, this game has good writing that fleshes out the characters and their personalities as you face in the game. Customization is on point and tasteful.
Started with the dreamcast versions emulated on pc. What a amazing game, now with simcade features, deserves to be preserved. For those that love japanese automotive culture and cars in general
I have so many hours on my ps2 playing tokyo xtreme racer zero . NFS, Forza, The crew haven't been good in years and just push multiplayer and live service garbage. TXR is a back to basics racer and is modern classic . We need more games like that focus on giving a good single player experience. It feels like genki never left . I have so many memories with this series. This game is so much fun and has decent customization . unique bosses and teams that have cool backstories. Besides nfs not other racing has story lines these days and just focus on doing generic festival games. This brings back the gritty feel of racing games from the 00s. Its still in early access but there will be more content in full release. Looking forward to the full game. I want to see this game added to gog.
I had a Sega Dreamcast system back in the days when I played this game for the first time with my school friends. GOG is great with their DRM free policy, and I believe in ownership.
Those games also need your vote!

Sega Rally Championship
Sega Rally ChampionshipSega Rally Championship is a 1994 arcade racing game developed by AM5 on the Sega Model 2 board. The unique selling point of Sega Rally was the ability to drive on different surfaces (including asphalt, gravel and mud), with different friction properties, with the car's handling changing accordingly. As the first racing game to incorporate this feature, Sega Rally is considered to be one of the milestones in the evolution of the racing game genre. The music for the arcade game was composed by Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, while the Sega Saturn port's soundtrack was done by Naofumi Hataya and the Guitar were played by Joe Satriani.

Instead of being confined to just a go-kart, you'll get a bobsled, or a rocket ship, and several others. Collect a myriad of power-ups to your vehicle such as Mickey coins which allow you to race a little faster with each additional coin you collect. Or use the guided bottle rocket to get a speed boost and home in on your opponent. You can also collect items that can be used against your opponents like the frog spell, which will leave them hopping in your dust. Or launch an acorn at them and send them flying out of control.

Dirt 3
Dirt 3Dirt 3 is a rally racing game. Just like expected, most time is spent in races which, at least in most scenarios, are set in offroad environments. The main difference to other racing events is, that the player drives not alone, but has a front-seat passenger with him, who announces when to turn. The game features overall 98 courses, but some of those are just variations of the same. Also on board is the iconic ability to turn back time after screwing up. In contrast to Dirt 2, in this installment there are other playing modes than the career available, e.g. a single race. But the career is still the heart of the game; here the player tunes his car, participates in races and earns experience points, which are used to unlock new cars. There are six different race modes to solve during the career; e.g. regular races and "trailblazer" (no passenger available). Two of those are newly introduced: drift tournaments and Gymkhana, which are basically confined areas with a lot of stunt opportunities - the goal is to perform as many as possible in a limited time. Additionally every mode has special tricky bonus goals which reward more experience when fulfilled.
