Story:True Crime: Streets of LA is a free-roaming driving and action game similar in concept to Grand Theft Auto III. The game's structure is mission-based; most of the missions are dictated by the story and initiate following a cutscene that advances it. Failing a mission still allows the player to continue playing through the chapter and undertake subsequent missions; in some cases this will lead to branching paths and optional missions. However, in order to complete the whole chapter the player must eventually succeed in all the main missions.Show more

OMG! I loved this game so much as a kid and still even go back and play it at times. I would pay anything to see it GOG. Great game and its sequel was okay too.
I do recall playing this on Xbox original. I believed I once played every path there is. I didn't even fully know the concept of clones in gaming at that time. I kinda knew it was somewhat similar to GTA series. You play as a detective that's literately taking down the bad guys. This might be famous for the bonus mode. Where you play as rapper Snoop Dogg with a huge time limit. Simply stop as many crimes as possible. This also put some effort into the fighting mechanics. Shooting can be fun for a while. I would say among the best GTA clones I played. The music is rememberable to a degree. It does play off good or bad system. Which started to become more popular in gaming. You also got a rememberable protagonist. Parts of the cut scenes felt somewhat like a decent crime movie. I do think a lot of people would absolutely love this in their GOG collections.
ah man... the memories, this game was just the definition of COOL when it came out! The diving and slow-mo mechanics, the SOUNDTRACK, the humour all of it was great! The little dance routine in the hidden bonus scene I LITERALLY LEARNED THE ENTIRE DANCE AS A KID LOL. That song is STILL in my playlist what a classic. PRESERVE THIS LEGENDARY GAME ♥♥♥♥♥♥
For as much as they're compared to the gta games there is nothing like the true crime games and there being nowhere to play these gems is criminal. Some of my fav memories from the ps2 era of gaming. Hearing Christopher Walkin again would be a dream come true
A cool game with an open world and character progression with different abilities. The story is decent, and I think there are even two endings. There's a lot of humor. I played it back in 2004. For me, it was kind of like GTA: Vice City but about a cop, with slow-mo mechanics, advanced weapons, and hand-to-hand combat. The game is outdated both technically and graphically, but it has some amazing features you won’t find in other games.
A great soundtrack, a new style of action game and the style of a GTA game, True Crime: Streets of L.A. has it all. Easy to lose track of time playing this game with the variety of missions and side quests.
They are gonna have to remaster this game before they add it to GoG, I played it in 2023 and it found it to be a very buggy port, also the true final boss is impossible to beat.

Brave Fencer Musashi is an action game with strong RPG elements. Controlling Musashi, the player explores the pre-rendered backgrounds from third person view (similarly to Final Fantasy VII), visiting towns, talking to NPCs, etc. There is a day/night cycle in the game, which is manifested in the schedules of NPCs and/or monsters, as well as Musashi's fatigue level, which increases if he doesn't sleep enough. Musashi uses the two swords, Fusion and Lumina, to fight his enemies. The two swords have different properties: while Fusion behaves more or less like a traditional melee weapon, Lumina needs to be imbued with various elemental items in order to unleash powerful attacks.Action Comedy
Valkyrie no Bouken: Toki no Kagi DensetsuOnce upon a time, in the world of Marvel Land, people and nature lived together in a peaceful and harmonic coexistence. All the animals were docile. A large clock tower resembling a stone grandfather clock stood watch over the countryside of Marvel Land. Long ago, an ancient evil had been sealed within the clock tower. The people needn't fret, however. For those days had long since passed, or so they had thought.
The key of time that rested in the center of the face of the clock tower had long since been used to seal away the ancient evil that lies within. Until one day, the clock tower mysteriously stopped working. In an effort to rewind the clock, a villager takes it upon himself to do just that. Fumbling with the key, the villager drops the key of time, foolishly. In a frantic manner, the villager picks up the key and tries to reset it back into place before a catastrophe befalls Marvel Land. But then, it was too late for the villager to accomplish the task. The ancient evil of legend. Zouna, the Dark Wizard who manipulates time itself was unleashed upon the world once more. And to prevent anyone else from sealing him away once again, Zouna takes the key of time for himself.
Finally freed after many years, Zouna wastes no time in wreaking havoc and chaos over Marvel Land. Zouna unleashes his manifested darkness over the land, and lays waste to the countryside. Feeling confident in his reign, Zouna constructs his castle in which to preside over Marvel Land from. The peaceful inhabitants of Marvel Land cried out in terror as Zouna's manifested darkness came after them one by one. Zouna's darkness corrupted the hearts of anyone it came across, and possessed them against their wills. Once thriving towns and villages fell into ruination. Family members were parted from their loved ones. Only a few scattered towns remained standing; forming a last bastion in resistance to Zouna's dark invasion. A futile effort. Even Krino Sandra (known as Whirlo in Europe) would come to meet his heroic demise, subdued by Zouna's power. Marvel Land is in dire need of a savior.
