Man, *Valkyrie Profile* on PSX was something special. The story pulled me in with its dark, emotional take on the way you recruited fallen warriors and their tragic deaths. The combat was addicting—timing those combos just right was so satisfying. And the music? Pure magic. Even after all these years, I still remember how epic it felt to unlock the true ending.
I first played valkyrie profile in Japanese without understanding a single word and I had to wait like 6 months for the English version to be released but this game captivated me from the very beginning, not only for the story but for the graphics and the soundtrack is delightful.
It's a dark but interesting story full of mystery and deep topics. It's visually unique and the soundtrack is amazing. Battles, exploration and rpg mechanics are a delight.

This is the best Valkyrie Profile game, perfect OST and story with more than one ending, didn't have the chance to play it on PSX but I was able to do it on PSP! Valkyrie Profile is there along with Chrono Trigger as my fav RPGs.
One of the first RPG I played and still listen the battle song today, the gameplay is great and the the history of each character has they moment, saddly I never finished and I want my legal runback
Extremely underrated, very fun and unique type of combat and a serious story. This beautiful game, forgotten in history thanks to PS hoarding greed deserves a PC port.
This game has shaped my tastes in media. I remember Easy mode being deceptively harder than the actual Hard mode. The true ending was notoriously hard to figure out because of seemingly arbitrary conditions. There's no way someone will figure that out on their first run.
Didn't have much internet access back then so I barely had guidance on what to do. I ended up doing something silly like sinking a few hours trying to defeat Freya in Ending C just to find out what happens. (it still proceeds to a GAME OVER screen)
Hearing the 4kids! Pokemon English cast in this game blew my mind as a kid.

Fable IIFable 2 is the second game in the fable series by Lionhead Studios, it is an open world role-playing game. It has a simple story line where the hero needs to save Albion from the evil Lord Lucian by collecting together the other three heroes to defeat him. Interactive cut-scenes are a large part of the game however the main character never speaks and all dialogue is uncontrolled.
The game features a large variety of game play and freedom, allowing a player to shape the world around and the characters appearance and moral standing based on decisions throughout the game. The player moves around mecha and jet units around a world map, trying to conquer as much territory from the forces of darkness as possible in order to repel them. When two opposing sets of troops occupy the same area, the game switches to a hexagonal grid where the two forces clash. When units meet in combat, the game uses animated cutaways demonstrating the exchange of damage.
