"Vietnam 2: Special Assignment" was the excellent 2001 sequel to the also excellent 2000 budget title, "Vietnam: Black Ops." It is a single-player game, ran on the Lithtech engine, and ran in the Windows 95/98/ME environment and required a dedicated video card. I enjoyed this game immensely, for the same reasons as the first game: Excellent level design and environments that really made me feel like I was in those locations. My favorite level was one called "The Burnt Out City", but really, all the other levels were nearly as good, with the possible exception of the level where you float down a river on a raft, which was horribly difficult but do-able. I'd love to be able to play these games again. Published by ValuSoft under the "Elite Forces" banner.

Michigan: Report from Hell
Michigan: Report from HellMichigan: Report from Hell, released as Michigan in Japan, is a survival horror game developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published by Spike. It was released in Japan on August 5, 2004, in Europe on September 30, 2005, and in Australia in 2005. This game was never released in North America. Directed by Akira Ueda and planned by Goichi Suda, the game focuses on a news crew for the fictional ZaKa TV, dedicated to covering strange phenomena. The game is unique in the sense that it is played almost entirely though the viewfinder of a camera; and the game is lost if the player runs out of film before solving the mysteries in a mission.
