Hi Everyone!

I tried using the search function but couldn't come up with anything that helped me out.

Is it possible to import custom player portraits in the Mac version of BG1 and, if so, where should the "portraits" folder be located?

Thanks in advance,

Randomir

I don't have it installed on a Mac, but it should work. You have to look inside the game package. Right click (secondary click) the Baldur's Gate app and select “Show Package Contents”. There you should find the folder structure (drive_c/GOG Games/ ...). Look into the Baldur's Gate folder and if there isn't a subfolder "Portraits" create it and place your custom pics there.

It's actually located in the exact same place as on a windows computer (i.e. username/users/documents). If you know where the documents folder is there should be a folder in it called "Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition". The portrait folder will be in there.
