So I tried assigning keyboard shortcuts to the quick spell actions. I wanted to assign my Å, Ä, and Ö key to that, but nothing happens — no key binding shows up when pressing the keys.

Is the game supposed to be broken with any but an american keyboard layout? If so, that's a very peculiar way of modernising a game.
