I have two questions regardings old party members:

1) I noticed some party members tell you where to find them when they leave the party and some not. Are the others always waiting where you left them?

2) I'm playing on normal and I know I can revive dead party members in a church. But what if they are no longer part of my party?

Ok. it's been a long time since I played, but this is from what I remember:

Ajantis - Don't know
Alora - Waits where you leave her
Branwen - Waits where you leave her
Coran - Stays where you leave him
Dynaheir - Stays where you leave her, with Minsc if he's in the party
Edwin - Not sure, but I think it's the inn in Nashkel where Volo is
Eldoth - Leaves with Skie for good
Faldorn - Waits where you leave her
Garrick - Leaves for good. Also Leaves for good if you talk to him and say you're not interested in helping Silke
Imoen - Goes to the Friendly Arm Inn
Jaheira - Special case: do NOT remove her or Khalid inside the FAI. In chapter 1 they will leave for good if you haven't been to Nashkel and spoken to the Mayor. Otherwise, if you have spoken to the mayor, they will stay where you leave them, but NOT inside the FAI
Kagain - Don't know, probably his shop
Khalid - See Jaheira
Kivan - Don't know, though I think he stays where you leave him
Minsc - If you have done his quest to find Dynaheir, stays where you leave him, WITH Dynaheir. If not, leaves for good
Montaron - Stays where you leave him, with Xzar
Quayle - Don't know
Safana - Stays where you leave her if you've completed her mini quest
Shar-Teel - Stays put or leaves, depending on your alignment
Skie - Leaves for good with Eldoth
Tiax - Don't know
Viconia - Stays put or leaves for good, depending on your alignment
Xan - Leaves for good (for Evareska!)
Xzar - See Montaron
Yeslick - Stays where you leave him
Neera - Goes to the Friendly Arm Inn
Rasaad - Goes back to the outside of the inn in Nashkel (where you met him)
Dorn - Goes to the FAI
Baeloth - Don't know
As to your second question, dead party members who have been removed from the party are dead forever.

thx for your replies!
