Hi,

Just bought the EE of Baldur's Gate II but to my disappointment there is no sound. The intro videos, the menu and the game everything is silent. I'll installed the OpenAL drivers but no change whatsoever.
Can somebody help me?

System:
Win 7 64Bit
Creative SB X-Fi

Unfortunately I think you have run into a bug which, as far as I know, hasn't been resolved yet.
As you can read in this thread:

A workaround for this issue is to use the generic Windows drivers which Microsoft provides if you attempt to update the sound card driver manually, however, this particular driver causes periodic severe sound distortion and can't be considered a solution.
That said, you could try the workarounds suggested here, if you wish.
