The last couple of years I have seen some trailers of horror games such as Silent Hills P.T., Amnesia, Soma, Outlast and they all seems to be great, but they are all 1st person vew.

However, since I have motion sickness I tend to ignore these games.

I don't know exactly what trigger the dizzyness and the craving for vomit. There are some 1st person games that I can play without problem, for exemple I finished Mirror's Edge without any problem, but it took me 5 minutes playing Thief and I felt sick all day long.

It's been quite hard for me to find 3rd person horror games. I really like good old games such as Alone in the Dark, Silent Hill 1 and Resident Evil 1. The newest horror game I played was Alan Wake and, even though it is more action oriented, I think it was good.

EDIT:
Thanks for the help of everyone.
I needed to choose one of the answer as the solution, but there is a bunch of games here that seems to be really good.

I watched some trailers and gameplays. Some of these games are going into my wishlist right now.

Thanks guys

Does Sanitarium count? It shouldn't cause you any motion sickness, but it may or may not be horror enough for you.
I'd recommend The Cat Lady. It's a 2d point&click adventure game tho.
I can't help but notice that you didn't mention Dead Space. If you haven't played that yet, you should. There is also The Suffering.
Another shoutout for Dead Space. It does have 2 or so brief zero-gravity sections that might be a bit disorienting.

Cold Fear on steam is an excellent action horror game, kind of similar to Dead Space.

Darkwood is phenomenal and far more disturbing horror wise than either Dead Space of Cold Fear. It also far less action oriented than either game.
Are you more into atmosphere or themes? Horror can be pretty subjective, though from the games you listed as examples I'd guess atmosphere.

Second Darkwood, a top-down survival horror game with a very oppressive atmosphere.
Lone Survivor is a 2D side-scroller.
The Dracula Trilogy is first person point and click but you click to move.

I'd also second Sanitarium; it's not exactly scary, but rather very unsettling in its themes and imagery.
Same goes for Fran Bow and I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, both point and click.

I would recommend Stories Untold as well since a lot of the game is switching between screens without actually moving, but the second half-ish bit of the game has you walking around in first person so maybe not.
The Resident Evil games are 3rd person, too, although you probably know them already? But some are newer than Alan Wake (RE 6, 7, Revelations & Revelations 2).

There's also The Evil Within 1 & 2.

Murdered: Soul Suspect is another one, not action-oriented survival horror, but horror-themed.

Perhaps you will enjoy these games, both can be found here on GOG:
- Shadow Man .
- The Suffering .

Both are 3rd person with horror elements.

Of the two I'd say Shadow Man has creepier atmosphere and more memorable voice acting.

The Suffering may be the easier to control of the two, with Shadow Man feeling a bit clunky until you get used to its quirks.

The Suffering also has a sequel called The Suffering: Ties That Bind and from what I've read you can import your saved game from the first game to carry over any moral choices you made into the sequel.

I haven't played Ties that bind myself so I can only comment on the original game, which was pretty good.

Here are some VIDs on Youtube of the two games being played:
- Shadow Man .
- The Suffering .

I highly recommend Shadow Man because of how unique it is. Don't let the older graphics fool you, there's still life left in this one. Additionally with the current sale going on this game's price is a bargain.

Remothered: Tormented Fathers
I second Darkwood and Fran Bow, both are excellent games which use horror to support and deliver their unique narratives rather than just using it for the sake of it.

It may be caused by a low field of view. Try bumping up the FOV (if possible) and see if that is more comfortable. If you are using a 16:9 aspect display, try 105 degrees or so.

I can't really recommend any third person horror games but if adjusting FOV works for you then you might be interested in System Shock and System Shock 2.

I thought all of the Silent Hills were 3rd person? Never played the newest few though so I don't know about those ones. Have you tried Deadly Premonition? It's available on GoG. Or there's Eternal Darkness if you can get hold of a Gamecube or emulator. I'd also recommend Evil Dead Regeneration.

Matewis: Cold Fear on steam is an excellent action horror game, kind of similar to Dead Space.
Amazon sells it DRM-free.
https://www.amazon.com/Ubisoft-1725-Cold-Fear-Download/dp/B0030GG2N0?th=1
US-only, but you can buy it elsewhere in the world here:
https://www.gamingdragons.com/en/game/buy-cold-fear-download.html
1,48 € currently - they send you the offline installation files.
Does Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines count? Because with Melee Weapon you are in third person.
