There’s a certain magic that can only be found in classic titles. We know that very well and we are also fully aware that so do you. That’s why we are that much more excited to announce that…

4 awesome classics from SNEG are coming soon to GOG: Spelljammer: Pirates of Realmspace, DeathKeep, DragonStrike and Fantasy Empires!

Spelljammer: Pirates of Realmspace is an adventure RPG with strategy elements that provides swashbuckling excitement and the magic of D&D adventures, but in wildspace! In this gem you’ll captain your own Spelljammer ship, recruit officers and crew to man your magical ship, and soar into the ether and explore the planets of Realmspace.

DeathKeep is a D&D dungeon delving the way you like it - fast, furious and fun! An evil Necromancer has escaped from his icy prison and is wreaking havoc upon the surrounding lands. Journey to this frozen wasteland and destroy the forces of evil - if you dare.

DragonStrike is the first-ever dragon combat simulator! In this title the deadly skies above the Dragonlance game world of Krynn explode before your very eyes. The first-person viewpoint propels you into a fully animated, 3D world of action and excitement. So to the skies brave knight - and victory!

Fantasy Empires is a D&D adventure and the first title to feature a computer Dungeon Master who mediates all elements of the game play. Create alliances, defeat enemy kingdoms and forge an empire in this exciting world. Under the computer Dungeon Master, you’ll interact with fantastic races, command dozens of troop types, send your heroes on quests and construct a variety of buildings and fortifications.

We couldn’t be more excited! Make sure to wishlist those masterpieces so you won’t miss their release dates or any special offers. Let’s relive the nostalgia.

Great to see more classic D&D games coming, I hope SNEG try to get the licensing to release The Summoning originally done by SSI.
It's good to see these announced shortly after the silver box collection.
Wonder how long before these games and the silver box collection are actually released on the catalog. Probably a year or two.

I love you, GOG.
Not my cup of tea atm but I know when I see awesome releases around the corner.
Amazing, dear folks from SNEG/GOG!!

The press release mentioned "end of March", this year.
DeathKeep looks familiar? Wasn't there similar game called "slayer" on some weird console (3DO)?
The descriptions reminds me Descent to Undermountains for some reasons, might give it a try out of morbid curiosity, heh.
MIght take and grab it because I'm always starving for RPGs in FPP and TPP (but mostly saved by Gothic mods).

Another user as rightly stated that SNEG should also try to acquire the rights to the the "Summoning", a quite nice - though almost forgotten - CRPG.

I also suggest resurrecting "Veil of Darkness" and "Cyber Empires" (it's basically "Fantasy Empires" but on a sci-fi setting).
This is actually the best news on GOG this year - finally, we see a large number of classics coming in again - Good Gld Games as it should be...

I actually look forward for an announcement for the two Buck Rogers games now - hopefully, we can complete the SSI AD&D catalogue with these additions soon...

Deathkeep is some sort of sequel of Slayer (not storywise iirc, just mechanics/style), both made by the same developer.

Well, Deathkeep was first released on 3DO too.
And there are a few full playthroughs of Slayer at a quick search, like this one. Seems to have been better received than Deathkeep actually...
