After being content-free for months due to the war, they announced a few weeks ago that this month they would be returning with all new bundles and content.

Nothing ever showed up.

And Today it's just a 522 error.

Perhaps they are moving their stuff to new servers now, and that's why it's down.

But then again, when IndieRoyale got new owners, they kept changing the launch date every quarter year forward and then again forward, and it never happened.

So it can go either way, but let's hope that Groupees can actually make it happen.

Of course the last few years there were very few game bundles, it was mostly indie music and game creator assets and such, nothing wrong with that, those are good things too, but those old bundles with lots of games and some random GOG codes are far in the past.
I'm surprised Groupees still exists. I bought a ton of shovelware bundles on there back in the day but I haven't thought about them in a long time.

Yeah, it's years since I've bought anything from them.

Btw: the site seems to be accessible again: https://groupees.com/
Yesterday it was down.

Depending on your musical taste, their music bundles have been great.

I have discovered many artists that way that I otherwise might have missed altogether.
MoTER, to give one example.

And back in the IndieRoyale days I discovered Disasterpeace from one of their bundles.

There have been some good comic bundles too every now and then, but if you only care for games, then there really hasn't been much to discover lately.

IndieGala is a good alternative for that, their only problem is that their game bundles are only Steam keys, adult game bundles being a rare exception to that.

The last time I checked the site, the music on offer wasn't really my thing, and games weren't on offer at all (if I remember correctly - maybe they were also just not my kind of games).

And while I enjoy reading a nice comic now and then, I don't like reading them on an electronic device (PC, tablet, e-reader, etc).
I prefer the paper editions.

These days, I rarely buy anything outside GOG, anyway. And that's already seldom enough.
It seems Groupees actually managed to make their comeback happen!

They are running a whopping seven bundles at the moment.
Not only that, but of those seven bundles two are even game bundles. Of course, they are kind of disappointing, as the other one has only two games in it, and the other one has the word "Steam" even in the bundle name.

But even so, things are actually looking quite promising, for the time being.

Maybe they can have a GOG bundle in the future?
