Capcom just released Dino Crisis 1 and 2 soundtracks on Steam. Here's hoping that they also release the Dino Crisis games as well.

Yes. Don't understand why would they release soundtracks but not the games themselves.

So I get that they are trying to gauge interest for the game by selling this low effort OC, but I am not quite sure that this is the best way to do it.

It's weird to me the original versions of the RE games aren't here or on Steam, since I know from watching speedruns and such that they can work fine on modern PCs. Hopefully all of it is coming, and Silent Hill 2 and 3 as well.
