Solid guess. That game reminds me of Rise of the Robots. But no, it is not One Must Fall. It's a fair bit older!

Also, my drawing is fairly true to the box cover, (apart from the short legs!), so when you find it, you'll know it!

Yes, it's Thexder! I drew this soon after someone here said something about Silpheed.

The game was difficult, awkward to control and I was poor at it. I expect that if I played it now, I could do much better.

Still, the box looked badass enough.

grimwerk: Yep! The legs should be longer, and well, sexier. I misplaced the drawing on the paper and ran out of room. If you look closely, you can see the edge of the paper at the bottom of the image.
Do you draw on computers too? Like how mangas are drawn?

I'm pretty impatient with drawing on the computer, but I do it sometimes. I'm much more comfortable with pen and paper. I don't typically draw manga, but I've done some similarly cartoonish stuff. Oh, and I used to draw Voltron* as a kid.

Took me a bit of time to notice it's "nookie" and not a "cookie"... Anyway, if I'm right (and I'm fairly sure I am) you'll have to wait for ~10 hours for my picture, until I get home, come up with an idea and draw it.

"Our leader is truly great!" you are right of course :) It's a shame Beasts & Bumpkins is not here. That would be instabuy for me even though I have boxed version.
