Is there a game, or what game has a sort of a flashlight to better see in a dark room at night?
I think there's plenty of them...

Especially FPSs but I don't play them that much.

I seem to recall a game that had the option listed in the controls section.
Flashlights are a standard feature of many survival horrors. Games off the top of my head include: Doom 3, the Marine campaign of Aliens vs. Predator 3, all Silent Hill games, Space Hulk: Deathwing, and it's actually a weapon against shadow-creatures in Alan Wake.

You mean a torch?
A flashlight is something more specialised - not recognised by american english nor dictionary definitions.

A torch? What is this foolishness. Torches go with pitchforks... flashlights are for illumination. : p
There's several places in Maniac Mansion where you need a torch, cos the rooms are dark..
F.E.A.R. has you covered. The dudes with guns will even compliment with excitement when they see you use it.
It doesn't actually show a handheld light source, there's just an illumination.
Well, you didn't mention that you wanted to see an actual 3D model.
That would rule out most first person games to begin with, since in those the light is usually attached to the weapon or sits on the shoulder.

But there are enough of these as well, the probably most famous one being Alan Wake, where the flashlight is a central gameplay element.

Also check the Suicide of Rachel Foster for one with a dynamo.

In at least one japanese survival game you use the cell phone as light source, forgot it's name.

Btw, don't mix up the technology with the gameplay element. Older games usually have a simpler lightning model. So there is a flashlight in them, but what illuminates the room is not a beam coming from it.

It's not a phone but I remember flashlights and camera lights being a big part of the Fatal Frame series.

No, not a torch. A torch is a piece of wood with burning stuff on one end (not the end you're holding, hopefully). Flashlight is absolutely recognized by American English, and dictionaries, and is the correct word. "A battery-operated portable light", is specifically what the definition says. This is to helpfully distinguish said light from a flaming bit of wood. Because obviously nobody would be silly enough to use the same word to mean two very different things.

Well, tell this to peeps from UK and Australia. O.o

As a piece of tubular shaped silicone rubber (with a closed end), they are usually used for games in the bedroom, either on one's own or with a partner. Glowing versions are apparently available, so can be played with in the dark, if need be...
