Checked the European PSN store yesterday and saw a lot of good stuff on sales, both in the "october sales" and "digital discounts" sections.

You can get a listing here:

I would like to point out "Rollers Of the Realm" as it's a nice take on pinball games, mainly inspired by the classic "Pinball Quest" on NES. So you'll get a story with multiple characters which gives different attributes to the ball and you complete screens to adavance the story. I already have it on Steam so I didn't double-dipped but for 4€, it's a very good deal and unique experience.

And of course, the big highlight is "Valkyria Chronicles 2" aka the last great game of the PSP (and maybe Sega), it weighs around 850Mo. Its mix of real-time/turn-based combat system is really addictive and well-suited for portable consoles. In some way, it reminds me of the fun I had with the Advance Wars series on Nintendo consoles. Also, be reminded that it was a PSP exclusive so unlike the first episode (available on Steam), you won't find it elsewhere.

Personally, I thought that previous sale (which featured PS1 games) was more interesting than this one. Also, while it's true that Valkyria Chronicles 2 is currently PSP/Vita-exclusive, this might not be the case in the future (after all, Valkyria Chronicles was a PS3-exclusive before being released on Steam).

I seriously doubt it will get ported because it would mean they would have to redo all the graphical parts of the battles as they were tailored specifically for the psp hardware limitations with basic meshes, textures and no post-process "drawing" effect.
Comparison:

Technically, they would "just" have to swap all models and textures and redesign the GUI (in-game cinematics and artworks are fine) but business-wise, I don't think they have a financial incentive to assign team to do a "remake" (much more work/time/money than the PC port of Valkyria Chronicles 1)
I kept hearing from my brother that there is a game being sold for 2.5 euros (the PS Vita account is European due to a freebie mismatching with a US account). Now I know why.

Though I'd love to see a game become temporary free for a while.
