This. Heaven forbid forum users should interact in fun ways and enjoy a sense of community. Why can't these people just argue about politics and insult one another like normal Internet users?!

While we're at it, anyone who uses "boomer" in pejorative or dismissive fashion should also be banned. Then laughed at and then banned again.

People of the Gog community, there is no reason for hate to exist. If hate builds up here, we will be canceled by the twitter community. No need to offend anyone, you are allowed to have your opinions, but there is no need to express them if it causes war. Lets become united as one, comrade!

100% agree with this. Must be able to code something up that auto-bans people using that pejorative word...

I don't particularly mind the forum games myself and I quite enjoy the 'what is this game' one. But having said that, most forums I've participated in would have an 'off-topic' subforum where those sorts of threads would go, for the benefit of those that don't want to see them filling up the main 'on-topic' forum.
